Stop Revealing ‘The Last Resort’ Details Before the Season’s Over – It’s Beyond Frustrating

20 hours ago 6

As much as I love 90 Day Fiancé, there seems to be one major problem in the franchise that needs to end ASAP. The 90 Day Fiancé franchise is much like most traditional reality TV shows. These shows are filmed several months, even maybe a year in advance, before the series ends. However, this gap in the timeline allows for one major problem: spoilers. Spoilers can come in many forms.

Sometimes, fans catch stars during filming or out in public in between airings. If they happen across any juicy information, they often share the news with other fans on popular sites and social media platforms. On the other hand, some spoilers come from the stars themselves, as they decide to share more intimate details on their personal pages. Either way though, these spoilers are getting out of control and most fans like myself are growing frustrated.

Whole '90 Day Fiancé' Seasons Are Ruined

As of late, the 90 Day Fiancé franchise rumors seem to give away the most intimate details before the franchise can even release a promo. When 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2 began, there were already rumors that Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo as well as Rob Warne and Sophie Sierra were in the newest season. On top of that, there were rumors that most of the couples were already separated, including Rob and Sophie. Additionally, there's more gossip involving Jasmine, who's rumored to be pregnant with another man's baby and maybe even cheated on Gino.

Jasmine and Gino sit on a couch facing forward with awkward tension on 90 Day Fiancé.

Now the cast members have certainly tried to avoid releasing any definitive information, especially in the case of Jasmine and Gino. However, more often than not, these rumors have proven to be mostly if not all true, so they leave little to no element of surprise. While I'm watching Season 2 unfold and rooting for couples to overcome their differences, in the back of my mind I wonder if it's just a waste of time. Since most of them, according to the rumor mill, might not even be together anymore.

Reality TV Spoilers Are Confusing

Not only are whole seasons ruined, but then the storylines get confusing as well. When situations like this occur, it's like having two timelines. The series shows a past timeline, sometimes even a year behind. Meanwhile, the rumors tend to be more current. For instance, if the rumors are true, then Jasmine is not only pregnant but almost to term and weeks away from giving birth.

Similarly, Rob and Sophie have been split up for several months now, and she's been on a fitness journey processing her emotions. All in all, most of the star's current status is available to the public eye, making it much more difficult to keep track of the truth. Overall, with the gap in time, it's confusing to keep track, and it's tough to figure out which storyline to follow.

In the end, spoilers are normal and to be expected. They can also be a little fun to play with and make bets off of during a show. No matter the industry, spoilers are often released before everyone has an opportunity to get on the same page. However, lately, the reality TV sector seems to have taken the brunt of spoilers and many shows are falling short as a result. While most stars sign an NDA, the franchises and networks might want to look into other avenues of keeping spoilers out of the media, because there's no point in watching a show with all the facts available online before the series is over. 90 Day Fiancé and its spin-off series air on TLC, and are available to stream on Max in the U.S.
