Motown Legend Smokey Robinson appeared not to have a care in the world while hitting the links with pals in Santa Barbara this week.
The 85-year-old singer looked remarkably fit and in high spirits at the Sandpiper Golf Course on Tuesday, smiling and chatting with fellow golfers as he enjoyed a few rounds in eye-catching style, exclusive Daily Mail photos show.
The music icon pulled up to the range in a bright red jacket emblazoned with the word 'JAMMIN' across the back, matching red-and-white golf shoes, and crisp white pants topped with a baseball cap.
After arriving in the early morning, he was quick to walk over to the pro shop to fetch a golf cart and bring it back to his SUV in the parking lot.
Despite his advanced age, he needed no help in lifting his bag of clubs and loading them into the cart.
Handsome as ever, Robinson's signature green eyes flashed beneath the brim of his cap, complemented by small, silver hoop earrings, and a chunky chain necklace that peeked out from under his jacket.

'Smokey does great out there. He's got so much energy it's hard for the rest of us to keep up,' one golfer told the Daily Mail.
Smokey has become a regular at the public course and has been overheard telling fellow golfers that the recent accusations against him for sexual battery are merely, 'a money grab.'
With an estimated net worth of $150 million, there's plenty at stake.
But these exclusive photos suggest Smokey isn't letting the lawsuits get him down.
In May 2025, Smokey and his wife of 23 years Frances Robinson were sued for $50 million by four former employees alleging sexual assault, sexual battery, and labor violations - prompting a criminal investigation into the matter.

The Robinsons responded with a $500 million defamation countersuit, calling the allegations, 'vile,' 'false', characterized them as 'elder abuse' and an 'ugly method of trying to extract money from an icon.'
The legal battle escalated last November when two new anonymous accusers— a man and a woman —stepped forward to join the lawsuit with claims that the Grammy-winning star 'tried to force them to touch his erect manhood.'
At that time, Smokey's attorney Christopher Frost released a statement denying the claims and calling them 'an organized, avaricious campaign.'
'This group of people who hide behind anonymity, and their attorneys seek global publicity while making the ugliest of false allegations.
'Once the public can see the truth, their avaricious motives and fabricated claims will be revealed,' Frost added.
One of the motions from a 'Jane Doe 5' had a housekeeper alleging 'constant' harassment from Smokey while employed between 2005 and 2011.
She claimed he grabbed her hand and tried to get her to touch him in his private part more than ten times.

The exclusive new photos show the singer appearing relaxed amid ongoing legal troubles, involving allegations of sexual assault, sexual battery, and labor violations against him and wife Frances Robinson (pictured in 2023)
She alleges he would ask her to enter the bathroom while he was showering as well.
Meanwhile, his wife Frances, 73, is accused of creating a 'hostile work environment' for the staffers.
While the trial is set for October 2027, Smokey has stayed busy and continues to entertain fans with shows across the United States.
He is next set to take the stage on Valentine's Day at the Thunder Bay Casino in Lincoln, California.
Other 2026 concert locations include Rancho Mirage, California, Atlantic City, New Jersey, Phoenix, Arizona, Choctaw, Mississippi, and even a special night with pal Glady's Night at the Hollywood Bowl on July 25.
Smokey's hits include The Tears Of A Clown (1967), Cruisin' (1979), Being With You (1981) Just To See Her (1987), and more.
Between 1960 and 1970 he produced 26 Top 40 hits with the Miracles as the lead singer.
