The Alan Partridge creator, 60, bound through Manchester's MediaCity in a kooky ensemble while clutching glamorous Katy's hand.

He has enjoyed a host of high-profile romances in the past, however remains tight-lipped on his private life – making his PDA a resounding statement.

Katy looked chic in an all-black look comprising ankle grazing jeans, a black T-shirt and a long sequinned kimono with a yellow clutch.

The brunette beauty is a successful Strategy & Digital Growth Partner at media and advertising agency Carat UK and has worked for 14 years in both UK and Australia.

Steve was at MediaCity to give a keynote speech at the launch of the Beyond The Music showcase, which will feature a screening of his 2002 movie 24 Hour Party People, which follows Manchester's music scene from the late 70s to early 90s.

Steve's representatives declined to comment when approached by the Daily Mail.

Steve's love life includes his three-year marriage to American socialite Caroline Hickman whom he married in 2002 before divorcing in 2005.

In the same year he sparked romance rumours with Courtney Love, who claimed to be pregnant with his child however he insisted they were 'just good friends'.

In 2021, Courtney shared a social media post describing the alleged fling as 'one of my life's great shames' and went on to compare it to her solo music America's Sweetheart: 'Like Steve Coogan, or crack, it's one of my life's great shames.'

Steve told GQ of their union: 'Some was true, most of it was b**locks. To borrow the title of the film [A Cock and Bull Story], it was 20 per cent cock and 80 per cent bull.'

Steve was then in a relationship with model China Chow from 2007 to 2011, before he dated glamour model Loretta 'Elle' Basey from 2011 to 2015 having met while he was guest editing now-defunct lads' mag Loaded.

He was linked to Daisy Lewis between 2015 to 2016.

He shares daughter Clare Coogan Cole, 30, with his solicitor ex Anna Cole.

In October last year he revealed he is set to become a grandfather for the first time, as the actor and comedian opened up about his turbulent cocaine-fuelled past and lessons learned from his 'unsuccessful' relationships.

The Alan Partridge star announced London-based chef Clare's happy news on The Louis Theroux Podcast, saying that while he has been unlucky in romantic love, his family has brought him the greatest happiness.

'I've not been hugely successful,' he said of his love life on The Louis Theroux Podcast. 'I was married a long time ago. I have a stepson and a daughter, and I'm soon to be a grandfather, and all that stuff gives me great satisfaction.

'Having those relationships in my life are the most important relationships in my life.'

Clare is in a long-term relationship with the BAFTA-winning actor Jamie Demetriou, who played Phoebe Waller-Bridge's on-screen love interest in Fleabag.

Steve previously credited fatherhood with grounding him amid his decades-long career in comedy and acting, once describing becoming a parent as 'the most important relationship of my life' and admitting that his daughter helped him navigate periods of instability.

Speaking on the podcast, the Philomena star – who grew up in Middleton, near Manchester, as one of six children – said his early career success sent his life into chaos that included a string of high-profile relationships and hard-partying lifestyle.

Steve reflected: 'Certainly in my 20s and 30s, I had what I would call delayed adolescence. When I had that first flash of success, I thought, 'Oh, I can do what I like now.' I was awkward originally with women.

'Suddenly I was confident, and I had lots of relationships and then went off the deep end. I didn't have a proper job, so I had a lack of accountability.'

The actor also spoke frankly about his history of substance abuse, revealing that cocaine was his main vice during those years. It's the instant gratification...

'When you self destructive like that, everything becomes a problem. Small things become problems because you're not functioning cognitively, properly. You're half functioning...

'And when you swim away from that slowly, the cloud lifts and you find that it's not worth it. That's what you discover...

'And actually, the payoff is so much better because you discover all these new things, like being able to cope with 20 things at the same time.'
