After Netflix's Duffer Bros. adaptation was quietly canceled, Stephen King is officially ending his 42-year-old Talisman trilogy this year.

Co-written by Peter Straub, the epic horror fantasy series started in 1984 with The Talisman, and was followed up with a sequel, Black House, in 2001, one of King's many novels – such as Hearts in Atlantis and Insomnia – that tie in with his Dark Tower series. In January 2025, a third novel was confirmed to be in the works.

Now, per Barnes & Noble, the third and final book in the Talisman trilogy, titled Other Worlds Than These, will be released on October 6. The upcoming book is currently 30% off and is available for pre-order in hardcover for $24.50, eBook for $16.99. Audiobook for $0.00, and Audio CD for $84.99.
