Stephanie Waring stuns in a sweeping ivory gown at her UK wedding to Tom Thornton-Brookes - one month on from their elopement to the Maldives

Stephanie Waring looked beautiful in ivory at her UK wedding on Monday - a month on from her Maldives elopement.

The former Hollyoaks star, 46, married her partner of three years Tom Thornton-Brookes in a secret July ceremony.

But, Monday was a huge affair with guests including Stephanie's Hollyoaks co-stars Ross Adams, Gabriel Clark, and Kelly Condron.

Stephanie's dress had a matte top half and a silk skirt and she wore it with ivory heeled sandals and a beautiful hair piece.

Tom wore a smart navy suit with a white shirt and a black tie and he looked adoringly at his new wife. 

Stephanie’s daughters, Mia, 18, and Lexi, 13, were present at this wedding having missed their mother's Maldives union. 

In July, Stephanie revealed their impromptu nuptials 'just felt right' and they 'jumped' at the chance to get hitched abroad. 

Stephanie and Tom tied the knot at the five-star Ifuru Island resort after a last-minute decision. 

In photos published by OK! Magazine, the actress looked stunning in an A-line gown with a fitted bustier and embroidered detailing. 

And Stephanie made sure to FaceTime her teen daughters to show off her gown. 

Steph told OK! Magazine: 'When we booked this holiday to the Maldives, Tom said, 'Do you want to get married?' and I just replied, 'Yeah.'"

Tom added: 'I was having a look online at where we were staying and I saw they did weddings.

'I’m quite an impromptu person in some senses, so it just felt right. We just jumped at this chance.'

Stephanie continued: 'I FaceTimed Lexi before going, and when she saw my wedding dress she burst into tears. She’s very funny and caring and is so happy for us. She loves Tom to bits.'

Stephanie unveiled the identity of her boyfriend - Tom - when the couple went Instagram official in March 2021, after dating for 'a few months.'

They were engaged in December of that year, with Steph sharing that Tom proposed on their first anniversary.

She shared a series of loved up snaps of them together and showed her true feelings for her new man, by writing alongside: 'My heart.' 

The mother-of-two shares, Lexi, with ex Dan Hooper, and Mia, with an undisclosed former partner.

Stephanie briefly dated businessman Riad Erraji - ex-husband of Natasha Hamilton - in 2015 before having a short-lived romance with Rick Shore. 

The soap actress also dated former Eastenders star Michael Greco for six months, between 2016 and 2017. 

The weddings have been something positive to focus on for Stephanie who was left 'distraught' when she was sacked from Hollyoaks in April - after 28 years there.

The actress told fans on social media that she was 'heartbroken' after being told her long-running role was being culled as part of the cuts made for the cash-strapped soap. 

She said that she was given the option to reveal she quit in a bid to avoid public 'embarrassment' of her being axed but insisted she wanted to be honest with her fans.

Sharing a highlights video of her 28 years in the role accompanied by the Lady Gaga ballad Always Remember Us This Way, Stephanie wrote: 'I can’t believe I am writing this and I have taken the last two weeks to process and come to terms with the shock of what I am about to say.'

'I am heartbroken to announce that my character of Cindy has been included in the actors reduction of Hollyoaks.'

She pointed out that she is the only original cast member included in 'the cast cull':
