Steampunk RPG Clockwork Revolution arrives 2027, as an Xbox console exclusive

Steampunk RPG Clockwork Revolution will be an Xbox console exclusive on its release in 2027.

At this evening's Xbox Games Showcase, we got a pretty chunky new trailer for Clockwork Revolution, which is coming from inXile. The upcoming shooter has already drawn comparison to the BioShock games, and in this new gameplay trailer - known as The Heist - we see plenty of gadgets and time-bending powers. There's also a good look at its clockwork steampunk aesthetic, with plenty of humour too, as we are introduced to Morgan's gang, the Rotten Row Hooligansin.

"CHANGE THE PAST. CONTROL THE FUTURE," reads the official blurb for Clockwork Revolution. "Alter the course of history and rewrite the future in this steampunk first-person RPG."

Clockwork Revolution is the second Xbox console exclusive announced this evening, the first being Gears of War: E-Day. Many had presumed these games would also release on PlayStation 5, however newly-appointed Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has made a point of returning to platform exclusivity this evening.
