If you're looking for free games on Steam, then you're in luck. And while there are some free games expiring in April, there are four new games available to download now, and they're yours to keep forever. No catch. No subscriptions needed. Just 100% free to download and play. You'll need a Steam account, of course, but otherwise, there's nothing else required on your part.
Today's offerings come via Free Steam Games on X, an account that shares free games as they become available. There's a good bit of variety here, and you can read the full post below. In order to get these games for yourself, just follow the links to Steam and start downloading. It's as simple as that.
Steam Gamers, Don't Miss These New Freebies
The free games on Steam are:
- Bushi
- Penniless Chef
- Battle Magi
- Mahjong Fest: Sakura Garden
Bushi, which is in beta right now, is an arena brawler with parkour elements where you take on the role of a samurai. Since releasing a few weeks ago, it's gotten some updates and improvements, so the beta seems worth checking out. Penniless Chef is a cozy game where you run a restaurant, hunt for ingredients, and make recipes. You can also decorate your restaurant as it grows. If you're a fan of games like Stardew Valley, you'll probably want to give this one a try.
Battle Magi is in early access right now, but you can still play it for free. Its world looks a bit like Minecraft, but you'll compete in PvP arenas as you combine spells to take down opponents. Last but not least is Mahjong Fest: Sakura Garden, which lets you complete Majong puzzles and then decorate a garden full of blossoming cherry trees. If you're in the mood for something chill, this looks perfect for that.
Steam's Library Of Free Games Is Vast
While you can play Battle Magi for free in EA, and the same applies to Bushi in beta, it's worth noting that the full game unlock for Majong Fest: Sakura Garden requires a purchase of $9.99 to get the DLC. If you want to simply keep playing it for free, it looks like you can still do that.
Steam's library of free games continues to grow. If you're ever looking for a good deal, spend some time exploring the storefront for freebies, and you won't be disappointed. As these four games show, there's a wide variety of genres to choose from, and all you need is a Steam account to get them.
