Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Free Download Available To Grab Now

The Star Wars Jedi games really have been some of the better releases tied to the franchise, in any medium, that we have seen in recent years. They follow the story of Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan, five years after the shocking events at the end of the Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.

Without wanting to jump too much into the events of the narrative, it thrusts players into the midst of a galactic struggle that's still bubbling under the surface, despite the destruction of the traditional Jedi order. It's a very cool original story, and it has very solid gameplay fundamentals to match. In even better news, if you're an Xbox player, you might not have to buy either of them outright.

Both Star Wars Jedi Games Are Free Via Game Pass

 Survivor

If you're a Star Wars fan and Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can play both Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor at no additional cost, if you're signed up to the Ultimate tier. That's because it includes access to EA Play, menaning that not only are those available, but also other titles in the franchise like Star Wars Battlefront II (Celebration Edition) and Star Wars: Squadrons.

Of those, though, Fallen Order and Survivor are comfortably the best experiences to play through in 2026, particularly if you are into single-player, narrative-driven games. Kestis is a standout protagonist, even among a competitive field in Star Wars as a whole, and the motion capture used to tell the story really hits the emotional beats of the narrative well.

At the same time, the third and final game in the trilogy is currently under development at Respawn Entertainment, with some even predicting a release for that as early as the end of 2026 (though the impending arrival of GTA VI makes that less likely). In any case, it's a great time to start working through the first two games in anticipation of that, while we could see Kestis appear in other live-action Star Wars releases in the future.

These Are Essential Games For Star Wars Fans

The real clincher here is that these are games that respect the Star Wars setting, and most of the locations you explore, items you use and foes you meet will be recognizable to fans of the franchise. That makes it a very rewarding journey for anyone who is interested, and Game Pass is probably the best way to do it if you're already signed up.
