Star Wars Jedi's Cal Kestis is quickly becoming one of the greatest protagonists in Star Wars history, and for good reason. He's expertly written, incredibly nuanced, and perfectly portrayed by Cameron Monaghan, which naturally makes him both a compelling protagonist and a cut above a lot of characters from previous Star Wars media. Naturally, fans want to see him appear in more shows, books, games, and even films, which, thankfully, are in the works.

Star Wars Jedi's final installment should cap off Cal's trilogy, something that fans have been excited about since EA teased it a while ago. It should not only make Star Wars Jedi one of the greatest Star Wars trilogies of all time, but also make Cal the first protagonist in the franchise's history to get a perfect trilogy from start to finish (so long as Respawn Entertainment manages to deliver a thrilling and worthwhile conclusion). Of course, before then, Cal is making an appearance in a brand-new Star Wars Jedi release that fans will want to check out this December.

As fans await the next game in the series and wonder what unresolved Star Wars Jedi: Survivor plot threads will be dealt with, there is, thankfully, a handful of additional media being released surrounding the series to get stuck into. One of these projects has been ongoing for a little while, and the third volume is set to release in December 2026. A lot of fans may actually not be aware of this spin-off's existence, which makes the release of its third volume all the more exciting, as there will be plenty to get started with when it releases.

The project in question is the manga adaptation of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, published by Italian company, Panini. The series has been available in Europe since it was released at the start of 2026, and has yet to be officially published in the US. It is available for purchase in the US via UK booksellers, but a dedicated US version isn't scheduled to be released until 2027. Fortunately, this should coincide with the launch of the third volume, which continues the adventures of Cal and co. as seen in the legendary game.

The manga has largely received positive reviews from fans, with its incredible art getting particularly positive praise. Of course, fans of the game will know what to expect, although there are new character moments sprinkled throughout to help flesh out a lot of what was happening while Cal went out exploring. Obviously, a lot of the puzzles and combat seen in the game are rushed through or absent in the manga, but the vast majority of gamified Star Wars elements actually translate surprisingly well to the manga format.

The third volume will launch on December 1, 2026, and is available in the UK via Amazon and other retailers for £9.49 (which is roughly $12.93). Those in the US can also import it if they so desire, although, as aforementioned, a US version is set to be released sometime in 2027.

The manga should hopefully prove to be a fun distraction as fans await Star Wars Jedi Part 3 and a great way to relive the incredible story of Fallen Order. At the very least, it is great to see Cal return in some form of Star Wars Jedi project, as he truly is one of the best Star Wars protagonists in a long time.
