Stacey Solomon celebrates her daughter Rose's 5th birthday in style with a party in her Bridgerton-esque dining room at her £2M Essex mansion

Stacey Solomon gave daughter Rose a fifth birthday to remember as she set up a party in her Bridgerton-esque dining room on Saturday.

The TV presenter, 36, and Joe Swash, 44, recently shocked their fans when they announced they had sold their family home, affectionately dubbed Pickle Cottage, to purchase a £2million Essex mansion.

And taking to Instagram at the weekend, Stacey gave another glimpse of her sprawling abode as she showed off the pink party set-up in her dining room for Rose's birthday celebration.

Taking centre stage was a white birthday backdrop adorned with pink gems, which was surrounded by an impressive pink balloon arch and a giant light-up number '5'.

Panning the camera around the sizable room, which was recently cleared following their move, Stacey revealed she'd set up trestle tables in the middle which were adorned with pink tablecloths and delicate white doilies.

The DIY fan added pink tapered candles and vases of pink roses to the tablescape, with the tables sitting beneath a vintage chandelier adorned in more pink roses.

In addition to the light fittings, Stacey gave a further look at her Victorian home's period features, with glimpses of her ornate fireplace [also decorated with pink flowers] and cornicing.

Other decorative touches in the room included vintage-style white suitcases, a pink wreath and a plethora of other flowers and candles, with the room certainly not looking out of place on the hit Netflix series which is set in Regency era England.

Taking to her stories later in the day, Stacey also showed fans Rose's elaborate gem-themed cake which was covered in pink ice cream cake pops.

Both Stacey and Rose's birthdays fall on Sunday, but the pair will be celebrating on Saturday due to Stacey's work commitments.

The Sort Your Life Out host told on her stories that their birthdays were celebrated with a family dinner at Pizza Express on the Friday followed by Rose's party in the Bridgerton dining room with her pals on the Saturday.

Stacey, who recently landed huge roles on The Voice UK and The Masked Singer, noted that she told her none the wiser young daughter her real birthday was on the Saturday, so that she'd be free to work on the Sunday.

Since revealing her house purchase, Stacey has been giving fans a glimpse of the rooms and sharing ideas for their transformations.

And last week, the star showed that renovations are well on the way as she gave fans another update after enlisting the help of her eldest son Zach, 18, and her ex.

The TV presenter, who recently revealed that her three sons were currently all sleeping in one room together while they renovated their bedrooms, has made a start on Zach's room.

Taking to Instagram, the star shared a video of the decorators plastering the walls in his en suite before unveiling a stylish black tiled shower.

And Stacey has even enlisted her son's help as she told fans: 'This shower, he actually did the tiling with him and his dad together.'

Stacey keeps the fathers of her two sons Zach and Leighton, 14, out of the spotlight. She shares son Rex, seven, and daughters Rose and Belle, three, with her husband Joe Swash.

They have also constructed a temporary staircase to the top floor after originally having to climb up a ladder when they first moved in.

After Stacey shared a tour of the top floor last month, the star was particularly fond of a quirky bright orange bathroom.

Keen not to let it go to waste, she is planning to keep an orange theme going and it seems she has also found the perfect matching yellow tile.

In September, Stacey also gave a glimpse at her vast Grecian-style bathroom, sauna and the walk-in wardrobes at her new family house.

She showed off the huge bathroom at the property which features a giant tub right in the middle of the room and bizarre murals of half naked characters on the walls.

She told the camera: 'I love how crazy it is but I don't know whether to keep it as a bathroom...'.

The TV star then added: 'In this house I am overwhelmed, like I don't know what to do. There is so much to do in this house and I've just got to take it slowly.'
