During chapter #107 of the Spy x Family manga series, the Forger Family came across various side characters during their trip to Berlint City’s Festival. Among the individuals they came across were George Glooman and his father, who had not made an appearance in the franchise since chapter #28. While walking around the festival, the father of Anya’s classmate approached Jeeves, Damian’s kind and paternal butler, to ask him about Donovan’s whereabouts. The man wanted to show his appreciation to the former Prime Minister for buying his failing pharmaceutical business, saving him from going bankrupt.
This prompted several other unnamed characters to do the same, revealing that the Desmond patriarch has apparently been saving businesses from disappearing. This was extremely odd behavior coming from this sinister and cruel man. When his origins were revealed during chapter #99, his attitude made him seem like an uncaring person who could not muster empathy for others. Having him give out money to save people from going bankrupt does not fit his character at all. Still, there might be a simple but dangerous reason behind his uncharacteristic generosity.

Her high level of awareness and proficiency in avoiding humans made Loid believe that she was a former test subject, a theory that might have been confirmed by Anya reading the seal’s mind. The only animals who the Esper can utilize her abilities on are those who were also experimented on, like her pet Bond.
