Sophie Turner Shares Unique Perk of Being a Young Mom
Sophie Turner was anything but a lone wolf on her 30th birthday.
After all, the Game of Thrones alum was surrounded by friends as she rang in the special milestone at a lavish celebration.
"So this is 30," Sophie wrote on Instagram Jan. 24, sharing snapshots from the party captured by English photographer John Taylor. "I think I like it so far."
One photo showed the actress—wearing a translucent, halter mini dress dripping in sparkly chains—hanging out with pals Ellie Johnson, Taura Lamb, Tabitha Doherty and Ellie Wasserberg in her dressing room, while she was pictured playfully covering up her nipples with a pair of chandelier earrings in another.
In a third image, Sophie—who shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with ex-husband Joe Jonas—was lifted in the air by a crowd on the dance floor.
Designed by UK-based events planning company Olive Sky Weddings & Events, the glitzy affair was decorated with disco balls and massive floral displays from Artistically Twisted.
And for Sophie, this get-together was long-awaited.
“I haven’t seen my friends or gone on a date in weeks, months!” she told Net-A-Porter in a January interview. “I just sack off parts of my life sometimes. I only have the capacity for work and family right now. But I’m working on it. I’ll get there.”
The Dark Phoenix star also said she's looking forward to "settle a bit" in her new decade of life.

“I just want to have some peace in my 30s," she shared. "I feel like it’s been really hectic for a long time and I’m ready to not have that anymore."
Especially since Sophie has described her 20s to be "relatively hard."
"As stressed as I am, I know I can get through it," the mom of two—who finalized her divorce from Joe in 2024, one year after their public breakup—reflected. "There’s pressure, there’s stress, but I’ve been through worse. I have to remind myself that we’re very malleable and we can take on a lot more than we think we can."

Just weeks after Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner in September 2023, the Game of Thrones alum shook her breakup off with a girls night out alongside pal Taylor Swift in New York City.

Later that month, Sophie signaled that perhaps a new relationship was coming—and moved on to a new chapter in her personal life.
In fact, she began dating British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, with whom she was photographed engaging in PDA during a Paris trip.

Ready to embrace a new year with a new lease on life, Sophie declared in January 2024 that the previous year was “the year of girlies,” adding that the forecast for the year ahead instead “is looking fairly consistent."

By Spring 2024, the mom of two had left her drama with Joe behind.
"I'm unhappy with the way everything played out, especially when it comes to my children," she told British Vogue in May 2024. "They're the victims in all of this. But I think we're doing the best we can. I'm confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children and that's all that I can ask for."

Friendly Exes
In September 2024, Sophie and Joe finalized their divorce.
Joe later shared that he and Sophie have become friendly, developing a "beautiful co-parenting relationship" for their daughters.
“As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them,” the Jonas Brothers singer during a May 2025 appearance on Jay Shetty's On Purpose Live Tour in Hollywood, Fla. "Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true."
