Sophie Monk has revealed she and husband Joshua Gross have 'tried lots of times' to have a baby, offering a candid insight into her hopes of becoming a mother at 46.
The Love Island Australia host told the Daily Mail that while she is reluctant to discuss the topic in detail, becoming a parent remains close to her heart.
For someone who has spent more than two decades making Australians laugh, the admission offers a glimpse of the worries behind her famous one-liners.
'It's hard because it's two of us,' she said.
'But we've tried lots of times.'
Sophie then joked: 'I wish someone would just drop a baby off for me at the front door. And I'd be like, "Oh gosh, it's fine".

'I think life can be too tough out there sometimes.'
Sophie has previously spoken publicly about her IVF journey, having frozen her eggs in 2018 before undergoing another egg retrieval procedure on her 43rd birthday in December 2022.
Sharing an update from her hospital bed at the time, she told followers: 'It's my birthday and I just had an operation to get some eggs.'
'And we got a lot which is great.'
Joshua, whom she married in an intimate ceremony at their NSW home in March 2022, remains her biggest source of support.
'He reminds me it's just a job,' she said of the perspective he brings to her working life.
'He's just giving me heaps more confidence.'

'It's hard because it's two of us,' she said of herself and husband Josh
She described worrying about something every day, with Josh often reminding her that the people occupying her thoughts probably are not thinking about her at all.
'That person's not even thinking about you,' she recalled him saying.
'And I was like, "Cool, okay. That's right. Probably not."'
Elsewhere in the interview, Sophie opened up about costly financial mistakes and admitted she's been burned after placing too much trust in other people.
Asked about the most expensive lesson she's learned, she replied: 'To trust people with your money. Unfortunately.'
'I trust people like you could trust me. I would never take a dollar off anyone.
'That's been my biggest flaw. I haven't learned it, actually. I keep doing it every time.'
'But we've tried lots of times,' she explained, before joking: 'I would wish someone would just drop a baby off for me at the front door'
