Sophie Cachia shares bizarre baby bump selfie as she poses naked with tape all over her body just weeks before she is due to give birth

Sophie Cachia stunned her followers on Tuesday when she shared a bizarre mirror selfie of her heavily pregnant body covered in black tape.

The former WAG, 33, who is currently counting down the days until she welcomes her third child, had stripped completely nude for the image.

She then stuck several strips of tape to her body, likely using kinesiology tape to help alleviate the pressure caused by her growing baby bump. 

'When your pregnant body has taken the phrase "stuck together with sticky tape" literally,' she joked in the post. 

Sophie posed with her back to the camera, hiding her behind with well placed star emojis.

Going completely makeup free, she placed strips of kinesiology tape under her belly and across her back.

The elastic cotton strip is said to ease pain and disability from athletic injuries and a variety of other physical disorders. 

Sophie's post comes after she hinted at what she is going to call her newborn daughter.

In December, she posted a series of photos of her cradling her blossoming baby bump while smiling on the beach in Noosa and dropped some name suggestions in a caption.

Sophie—who already has a son Bobby, 10, and daughter Florence, seven, with her ex Jaryd Cachia—revealed she always chooses 'old fashioned names'.

She also shared a list of names which she liked but decided not to use as she hinted at what her unborn daughter's moniker could be.

Sophie penned: 'Let's play a fun little game of "Names I Liked But Didn't Use"—I'll go first.

'Valentina, Giselle, Ivy, Betty, Jet, Rebel, Missy, Raphaela, Hank, Jed, Albert, Austin. 

'No matter how hard I try to be cool & edgy, I will always revert back to old fashioned names.'

Her girlfriend Madison Prespakis also took to the comments section to share her own suggestion, penning: 'Olive sounds good.' 

Sophie is counting down the days until welcoming her third child after undergoing intrauterine insemination (IUI).

IUI is a fertility treatment that involves inserting the sperm into the uterus around the time of ovulation.

In July, Sophie confirmed she was pregnant with her third child and would be a single mother. 

Since sharing her pregnancy news, she has gone public with her new girlfriend, Essendon star Madison.

They went Instagram official with their relationship earlier in December while holidaying in Noosa after keeping their budding romance very private.

Sophie then teased that their relationship is getting serious as she shared an array of loved-up pictures with the AFLW footballer to Instagram just days later.

In the photographs, the couple couldn't keep the smile off their faces as they cuddled up to each other during a date night at Sum Yung Guys restaurant in Noosa.

In an accompanying caption, Sophie dropped a huge hint she is taking her romance with Madison to the next level, gushing: 'It was always you.'

Madison took to the comments section to cement their love for one another, penning: 'Yep, ain't that the truth, I love you.'

It was a rare public display of affection for the couple, who have kept their romance under wraps during their first few months of dating.

Madison officially debuted their romance in December when she shared a sweet photograph of them cuddled up to one another at Sophie's baby shower.

In the snap, Madison sweetly caressed Sophie's growing baby bump as they joined an array of their family and friends to celebrate the unborn child's upcoming arrival.

It is not known exactly how long Sophie and Madison have been dating, but Sophie is believed to have split from ex-girlfriend Sophie Van De Heuvel in January 2024.

Sophie's new girlfriend Madison is friends with her former flame Van De Heuvel. They are both Essendon teammates and feature in many social media snaps together.

Madison hasn't appeared in any one-on-one posts in Van De Heuvel's feed since last December, before her relationship with Sophie ended.

Mummy blogger Sophie has dated a string of famous faces since her split from her AFL star husband Jaryd Cachia—who she shares her two children with—in 2019.

Sophie was married to Jaryd, 33, for four years after they tied the knot in October 2015, but they went their separate ways in September 2019.

Since their split, she has struck up several back-to-back romances with high-profile sportswomen.

She dated Matildas' Alanna Kennedy, before getting engaged to WNBL star Maddie Garrick, and then linked up with Van De Heuvel before she started dating Madison.
