If you’ve been waiting to buy a new pair of noise-canceling earbuds, you may want to consider this deal on the Sony WF-1000XM5, the company’s latest, greatest wireless earbuds. They usually sell at $299.99, but right now you can pick up a pair from Amazon or Best Buy for $199.99. This is the lowest price we’ve seen yet, and they’re a fantastic option for everyday wear thanks to a number of features that set them apart from the competition: lengthy battery life, excellent sound quality, superb noise cancellation effect, and a comfortable fit.
While they don’t include any gaming-specific features, I often prefer the XM5’s to my over-ear gaming headset when I need to drown out the noise from the construction outside my office window (the noise cancellation is that good), or when I want an option that won’t press down on my head.
If you need a pair of noise-canceling earbuds with more gamer-centric features, the Sony InZone Buds are a little cheaper at Amazon and Best Buy, costing $169.99 ($30 off). While they don’t have quite the same long-lasting battery life as the XM5, you’ll get similar drivers and noise cancellation, plus spatial audio compatibility and lower latency audio via its 2.4 GHz USB-C wireless transmitter, which can be plugged into mobile, PC, or PlayStation 5.
