Don't call it a comeback
Eastern suburbs controversy magnet Arthur Tzaneros made the three-hour trek to Glengarry, Scots College's pristine Kangaroo Valley campus, for the school's Year 9 parents' weekend.
And judging by the enormous grin plastered across his face, the father of three was having a rather good time.
Arthur was spotted beaming in a photo shared by a fellow parent during the recent weekend away. His inclusion at a Scots gathering is notable, of course, for reasons that will soon become clear...
For those new to the saga, the Tzaneroses have been one of the most talked-about families in Sydney's east since private credit lender ScotPac moved to push their Port Botany-based shipping company, ACFS Port Logistics, into administration.
Maude Tzaneros stepped out on Tuesday to attend a Melbourne Cup event at The Royal Paddington

As the financial troubles mounted, Arthur was forced to step down as ACFS's chief executive over his leaked WhatsApp messages in which he appeared to downplay serious sexual assault allegations involving three current Scots College students.
In August, Tzaneros jumped into a private group for Scots old boys to offer his two cents on the case, describing the alleged 14-year-old female victim as a 'willing participant'.
He later deleted the messages, apologised and stepped down from his position.
The timing was hardly ideal, coming as his family was fighting to hold on to its business empire. But apparently, even a corporate crisis and a very public reputational disaster aren't enough to keep Arthur away from a social gathering tied to his beloved alma mater, where the word is he's now 'back in from the cold'.
It comes as his father, Terry Tzaneros, quietly added a second mortgage to the title of his $38million Point Piper mansion, which he bought five years ago.
The mortgage secures $4.365million in short-term finance, although Terry has not disclosed what the money was intended for.
The loan was taken out by his company, Sir Randwick Pty Ltd, with Terry and his wife Anne personally guaranteeing the debt.
And it's not exactly cheap money. The three-month loan carries interest of up to 8.85 per cent, the equivalent of an eye-watering annualised rate of as much as 35 per cent.
I'm told Arthur's wife Maude Tzaneros is back on social media, although she's yet to share any photographs documenting her months spent bunkering down in the family estate
It seems Maude's social hibernation may finally be over
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Arthur's wife Maude was seen attending a Melbourne Cup Day event at The Royal Paddington.
It was something of a rare sighting, given that Maude and other members of the family have been keeping a notably low profile amid the Port Logistics collapse. We understand they were previously being advised by crisis PR managers that public displays of personal wealth aren't exactly a good look.
But it seems the social hibernation may finally be over.
I'm told Maude is back on social media, although she's yet to share any photographs documenting her months spent bunkering down in the family estate.
Perhaps the comeback deserves its own photo album?
Billionaire baby bombshell
Genetically blessed model-turned-chef Sophie Dalah has announced she is expecting her first child – and the father is a member of one of Australia's wealthiest dynasties.
Model-turned-chef Sophie Dalah has announced she's expecting her first child
Sophie is 18 weeks pregnant with her first child to partner Ariel Triguboff Hendler, the grandson of billionaire property tycoon Harry Triguboff, Australia's second-richest person
The Kambala old girl and founder of LA-based catering business Sophie's Table is 18 weeks pregnant. The daddy is Ariel Triguboff Hendler, grandson of billionaire property tycoon Harry Triguboff, Australia's second-richest person.
Ariel, who is Meriton's director of asset management, is the son of Triguboff's daughter Sharon Hendler and clothing executive Gary Hendler.
But there's a rather juicy backstory to this particular baby announcement.
The new romance, first revealed in The Group Chat in June, comes less than a year after Sophie married musician Noah Gersh in a lavish ceremony in August 2025.
The rocker has been conspicuously absent from her social media of late, while he was recently posting updates from Italy as Sophie appeared to be on the other side of the world.
A source close to the pair confirmed their marriage is over, with the relationship reportedly unravelling not long after their wedding. Exactly what went wrong remains unclear.
I contacted both parties for comment, only to find myself blocked on social media. Ouch. Thankfully, the eastern suburbs grapevine remains very much operational.
Sophie and Ariel, meanwhile, have wasted little time enjoying the finer things in life, recently escaping for a cosy getaway at the ultra-luxurious One&Only Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana.

Rooms at the exclusive resort can fetch close to $2,000 a night – although I suspect neither was particularly concerned about the minibar bill.
Ariel splashed $15.7million in cash on an unrenovated Watsons Bay home last year.
And Sophie is hardly short of family wealth or social connections herself.
Her parents, Michael and Michelle Dalah, are among Sydney's most prominent property players and are regarded as some of Australia's largest private landowners, having spent decades amassing an extensive commercial and residential portfolio.
The Dalah family's social cachet extends well beyond bricks and mortar.
Sophie's brother Jordan is an established fashion designer whose creations are regularly worn by supermodel Georgia Fowler, wife of his twin brother Nathan, the co-founder of yuppie salad joint Fishbowl (which bafflingly is now called 'Thisbowl').
Of course, no prominent Sydney family is without its share of headlines.
Sophie's eldest sibling, Elisha Dalah, made headlines last year when court proceedings revealed she was present during former television star Andrew O'Keefe's heroin overdose, administering Narcan and performing CPR before paramedics arrived.
She had previously been banned from Westfield Bondi Junction following a shoplifting incident.
Double Bay's newest socialite
Oh, and speaking of baby news, there's another eastern suburbs favourite with a bun in the oven. Claudia Bursill, better known as Miss Double Bay, is also expecting!
The queen of taking the piss out of the eastern suburbs, whose razor-sharp memes and deadpan humour have made her something of a local treasure, was spotted sporting a baby bump at a recent wedding.
Congratulations, Claudia!

We like!
The Lamborghini that launched a thousand memes is officially looking for a new home – and, rather fittingly, it appears the market is being treated to a little reminder of the infamous 'You like?' moment.
The canary-yellow Lamborghini Urus gifted by property developer Jean Nassif to his then-wife Nissy on Valentine's Day 2021 has been listed for sale by Luxe Motor Group for a cool $369,999.
And yes, it really is the same Lamborghini.

Luxe Motor Group has listed the Lamborghini Urus for $369,999, with the dealership seemingly unable to resist taking a swipe at the infamous video
The $480,000 luxury SUV became an unlikely internet sensation after Jean filmed himself unveiling the extravagant gift to Nissy, dubbing it 'the beast' before asking his wife the now immortal question... 'You like?'
Her reaction, his delivery and the sheer theatricality of the reveal sent the clip viral, turning the couple into something of a social media meme.
The Nassifs have since become regular fixtures in the headlines, and rarely for reasons involving luxury cars and happy family occasions.
The couple's spectacular fall from the high life has been well-documented, with Jean's property empire collapsing amid mounting financial troubles and investigations. The famous Lamborghini itself was previously reported to have been repossessed.
But now the canary-yellow beast appears to have resurfaced on the used-car market.

The seller briefly posted a social media video mocking the original 'You like?' skit, before deleting it. Not before yours truly managed to get a screen recording, of course.
One suspects the dealership knows exactly what it's selling – and that the car's unique selling point might not be its horsepower, but its place in Aussie meme history.
It's not every day a second-hand Lambo comes with its own viral catchphrase.
And somewhere in Lebanon where the disgraced Toplace developer has fled from financial crimes in Australia, he's surely still asking: 'You like?'
