Skye Wheatley has finally given up on renovating her dilapidated Gold Coast mansion.
The influencer had frequently shared progress on her renovation since she bought the rundown Spanish-inspired home, known as Casa Grande, for $975,000 in 2019, previously calling it a 'f***ing disaster'.
On Monday, the 32-year-old told her fans in an Instagram Story post that she can no longer avoid selling the property.
'Yes, we are selling the mansion. Sad but exciting, because the financial burden has been hectic and it's time to go,' she said.
Skye went on to slam her ex, Lachlan Waugh, for 'distracting himself' while she works on the sale.
'Two stressed people, going through a lot... Well, I feel like my emotions have been more heavy and men just go out and f**k new girls and do whatever they do and distract themselves with someone else,' she said.

'In my opinion, that's really weak. Just deal with it dude. Just go through the emotions, feel the pain. It's really not fun, but I don't know if every guy does that.'
Lachlan has not made any public announcement about a new relationship.
The influencer said that she was working on the marketing herself and wanted to make it a private sale.
'I'm gonna be at the open home, so if you wanna just come see the house and meet me, come, it'll be fun. You guys can see the house in person,' she said.
Skye went on to explain that she wanted to handle the sale herself, privately, but implied that Lachlan did not support that plan.
'I wanted to do a private sale and see if I can sell the house myself, but when I mentioned that to someone they were not happy,' she said.

The renovation saga has dragged on since 2019. Seven years later, the house is still unfinished – plagued by budget blowouts, emotional stress and construction delays
'Yeah, I get it. People think I'm a f***ing idiot. All good. I think I could do it. I can negotiate. I know what we need. I know what the house is worth. I know the potential it has,' Skye said.
The social media star admitted that the house is unfinished, but suggested it could be a great fixer-upper for a builder or Airbnb host.
'You could have weddings there. You could use it as a photo shoot location. There are endless things you could do with it that I wish that we did with it,' she said.
Skye said she will 'cry her eyes out' when the sale finally goes through, but said she was 'sick of the emotional s**t' that has bogged down the renovation.
The former reality star also disclosed that she is now living with her mother as she negotiates the sale of the mansion and rebuilds her future after her split with Lachlan.

At one point, the couple were living in a half-renovated section of the house while Skye was pregnant with their second child.
Skye and Lachlan appeared to split for good earlier this year following a tumultuous eight-year relationship.

The couple, who no longer follow each other online, have frequently taken breaks in their relationship over the years, with their last split coming in October 2025.
The reality star revealed on Nova podcast Skye & Callum that she and the Shopfit Co founder were taking a break while still co-parenting their two sons.
Skye added that the stress of work, young children, a renovation and running their own business had taken a toll on their relationship, making it 'very hard to understand each other sometimes'.
The former couple have two sons together: Forest, seven, and Bear, five.
It follows a difficult period for Skye, who was charged with drink driving in August.
The Big Brother Australia star was banned from driving for five months and fined $700 after pleading guilty to being in charge of a motor vehicle while over the alcohol limit.
'I wasn't actually drink driving. I got charged with being in possession of a motor vehicle while over the limit. I will talk about it soon,' Skye said on social media.
'Definitely not proud of my actions. Have done a Queensland Traffic Offenders Program course plus going to therapy.'
