Skye Wheatley has shared that she took ADHD medication that was not prescribed to her.

The Big Brother star, 30, was diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder at a young age and often discusses her challenges with the condition online.

She has previously mentioned that she does not take any medication for it.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the influencer shared she's trialling her friend's medication to see if it has a positive effect on her mental state.

Skye, who in October admitted she is 'probably mentally ill' and said she 'knows [she] has body dysmorphia', did not specify which prescription she is trialling.

'Just took an ADHD pill to see what the affects [sic] on me were like, I'm getting distracted still so will keep you updated on how it goes,' she captioned a mirror selfie with two laugh-crying emojis.

'I want to clean the whole house hopefully it gets it done faster.'

The former reality TV contestant kicked off her day with a stint of non-surgical cosmetic treatments to reduce her fat cells and tighten up her 'abs'.

She then returned home and changed into a a black sports bralette, pajama shorts, and a fluffy headband, to tackle opening a huge stash of Christmas presents from various brands.

It's at this point, Skye decided she'd take an 'ADHD pill' without seeing a doctor, to 'see' what its effects were on her house cleaning endeavours.

Skye tried on a stash of skimpy bikinis sent to her by SSWIM, a relatively new Aussie swimwear brand attempting to crack the heavily saturated local bikini market.

'Omg the mirror is so gross gotta clean but omg these are so gorgeous,' Skye gushed as she checked herself out in a tiny orange bikini that cut across her surgically-enhanced figure.

Wearing a different cherry red bikini in yet another post, the model worked her angles and left nothing to the imagination with the very tiny ensemble.

Her bust was on full display in the triangle top, while she flaunted her buttocks and trim pins in the tie-up bottoms from another Australian swimwear label, Somnium.

Skye went about her day by opening several gifted garments from brands, including multiple bikinis that she tried on for her followers

Skye posed with a bottle of fake tan in the photos, and wore her long, blonde hair down in mane-like tresses.

Skye's partner Lachlan, whom she recently broke up with before reuniting, returned to their Gold Coast mansion to assist with opening boxes and to accompany her to the gym.

In another post, Skye re-shared a meme about ADHD that said: 'Me trying to raw dog life without ADHD medication,' and typed 'HAHAHAHAHA.'

In 2022, Skye shared a document of her ADHD symptoms which revealed she struggled even as a child.

The document begins explaining that Skye 'started to show signs of academic and social difficulties at Daycare', as well as 'learning difficulties' in her early years at primary school.

In terms of social history, it stated Skye had a good relationship with her younger sister and made friends 'easily'.

But the statement further lists that Skye often got involved in 'physically dangerous activities' with her brother and fought 'viciously' with him.

Other notable symptoms of her ADHD included fidgeting, losing her temper, interrupting, excessive talking and deliberately doing things that annoy other people.

It also said Skye struggles to comply with 'initial commands' 20 to 40 per cent of the time.

In 2019, the former Big Brother star opened up about how she navigates her ADHD diagnosis while being a mother.

Skye shared her struggles on Instagram and said it's hard to do the simplest of things, like packing a baby's bag for a family vacation.

'I actually think this should be a fact that ADHD people would struggle more having babies than other normal people, because our brains are constantly on overdrive and then you throw a baby in the mix,' she said at the time.

'It's like, holy f**k, now I've got more to think about, more than what I had to think about before which was a lot and now it's like triple the amount than it was before.'

She explained that it's just chaos that goes on in her mind and admitted that sometimes she feels like her 'head is about the explode.'

'It's just a lot, I just tried to pack my bag because we are going on a little family vacation and I had to pack two bags, one for me and one for Forest.'

'I struggle packing a bag for myself, let alone packing for me and a little human and all the other things going on in my head,' she said.

She added: 'I just make life so hard for myself. I feel like I'm go, go, go, all the time even though I'm probably not, it's my brain that's like go, go, go. My brain never shuts off.'

Skye and her partner Lachlan met on Tinder back in 2017.

They have been together for five years and share two children - Forest, five, and Bear, three.
