Simon Cowell's new boyband December 10 sent fans wild after they debuted their first single, Run My Way, on Friday.

They were formed by the music mogul, 66, on his new Netflix series, The Next Act, which was savaged by critics after premiering last month.

The band, which consists of Cruz Lee-Ojo, 19, Danny Bretherton, 17, Hendrick Christoffersen, 19, John Fadare, 17, Josh Olliver, 17, Nicolas Alves, 16, and Sean Hayden, 19, have also released an accompanying music video which shows the boys in action packed day out in London.

The release arrives hot on the heels of December 10 selling out their Introducing! run of live dates across the UK and Ireland, kicking off in Glasgow on February 16 and wrapping in Dublin on February 22. 

Now fans are delighted to be able to play the new song on repeat, as they rushed to the comments of the band's Instagram to praise the release.

They’re not just brilliant singers, but accomplished musicians too, playing 14 instruments between them.

Cruz leads on percussion; Nicolas and Danny play guitar; Josh plays guitar and drums; Hendrik plays guitar, bass and piano; Seán plays guitar, piano and harmonica; while John plays Clarinet and Piano.

Last month December 10 debuted their first full performance with an acoustic cover of NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye.

Performing their own instruments, it marked the band's first complete full set, outside the glimpses seen in Netflix series.

Despite the show being criticised as a 'rehash of the X Factor for the billionth time' fans tuned in their droves to see the video's premiere and were full of praise for the group.

They gushed: 'The vocals are king': 'I'm in love with them': 'Well done all smashed it': 'So amazing': 'A boy band and instruments, perfect': 'JAW IS ON THE FLOOR'.

Simon Cowell: The Next Act follows the record executive try and find the next big boyband, landed on the streaming service on Wednesday 10 December.

Over the years, Simon has created a number of successful groups and solo artists, including One Direction, Little Mix, Susan Boyle and Westlife - which are all down to shows such as ITV's X Factor and the Got Talent franchise.

On the show, Simon was joined on-screen by his wife Lauren Silverman, 48, - who he married in 2013 - as well as a number of music industry professionals.
