Sienna Miller, Abbey Lee and Kevin Costner couldn't contain their laughter as they hit the red carpet at the premiere of Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2 on the final day of Venice Film Festival on Saturday.

The Western movie was directed, produced and co-written by Kevin, who also stars in the film alongside Sienna, Sam Worthington and Jena Malone.

The first film was slammed by critics and failed to ignite at the box office, with Chapter 2's theatrical release now being delayed indefinitely.

Sienna, 42, went braless in a see-through white jumpsuit, with hot pants underneath and a Chloe belt around her waist.

She completed her stylish ensemble with black leather knee-high boots, while her blond locks were styled in loose curls.

Actress Abbey, 37, showcased her jaw-dropping figure in a sheer lace gown with an embellished thigh-split skirt and nude shorts underneath as she posed for a slew of stunning snaps at the event.

She elevated her height in a pair of silver strappy heels, while accessorising with rings and dainty drop earrings.

Meanwhile, Kevin cut a dapper figure in a grey suit and a crisp white shirt, while shielding his eyes behind shades.

The Venice Film Festival began on August 28 and, by the end of Saturday, will have premiered over 20 films as part of the Venezia 81 competition.

Kicking things off was biographical psychological thriller Maria, starring Angelina Jolie, which premiered on August 29.

Sienna and Abbey have been busy filming the third film in trilogy Horizon: An American Saga, directed by Kevin.

Chapter 1 was released in May at the Cannes Film Festival and to US cinemas the following month.

Chapter 1 bombed at box office, failing to make back its budget, but Warner Bros. Pictures will hope the next two films will turn things around.

Horizon chronicles a multi-faceted, 15-year span of pre-and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American west.

The films have an ensemble cast, and also star director Kevin, Sam Worthington, and Luke Wilson.

Chapter 3 of the film saga started shooting in May 2024. Chapter 4 is in development.

Horizon earned a 10-minute standing ovation from the audience following its premiere screening at the 77th Cannes Film Festival last month.

It has a star-studded ensemble cast in addition to Costner with Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Jena Malone, Giovanni Ribisi, Ella Hunt, Danny Huston and Luke Wilson also sharing the screen.

However, the film has received some scathing reviews and a very low score on Rotten Tomatoes, with just a 38 per cent score on the Tomatometer - the rating system used on the film critique website.

The film project came after his  high-profile exit from Yellowstone - he played John Dutton in the drama (pictured with Luke Grimes)

Costner financed the film himself, admitting to putting $38 million of his own funds into the project after spending decades trying to find a studio to make the film.

He even took out a loan against his Santa Barbara home after trying unsuccessfully to make it for more than 30 years.

Costner previously revealed in June 2022 that he planned on making four Horizon films in all, shot back-to-back.

It's the fourth time Costner has directed a film in his long career, which also includes following Dances With Wolves (1990), The Postman (1990) and Open Range (2003).

Costner has achieved massive success with his work, including his directorial debut, Dances with Wolves (1990), which won an astounding seven Academy Awards from 12 nominations including Best Picture and Best Director.
