She is now an iconic romcom legend whose own child has achieved stardom.
While her voice had been dubbed over by Glenn Close in her first movie, she has gone on to achieve massive success, starring opposite some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
But before achieving fame, this future star was just a typical teenager preparing to graduate high school.
In her yearbook photo, this future legend can be seen beaming with happiness as she takes her senior picture. The classic, black-and-white photo captures the star wearing chunky earrings and a scoopneck top.
Her famous curly hair is swept back into a classic slicked-back hairstyle, however a few loose ringlets cascade along her complexion.
Can you guess who this star is?

It's Andie MacDowell!
After graduating from Gaffney High School in 1976, MacDowell went on to star in Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes, playing Jane.
She was 23-years-old at the time - but the experience ended up being a disheartening one, when she learned after shooting the movie that her voice was not actually going to be used in the film.
Instead, she learned Glenn Close had dubbed over her voice.
'I was 23 when I did ‘Greystoke’ (‘The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes’ from 1984, playing Jane opposite a Tarzan who relocates to the UK and attempts to assimilate). I showed up and there were no complaints about my performance,' she told the Chicago Tribune in 2019.
'I felt like I did a good job. I was a little scared the first scene I did with Sir Ralph Richardson, but I think that’s normal. But nobody ever told me there was a problem.

She starred opposite Bill Murray in the classic comedy Groundhog Day
Andie also worked with Hugh Grant on Four Weddings and a Funeral
'(After filming was done) they had me come out to do some looping and I showed up in London by myself, I was doing publicity for the film. And that’s when they told me: They were looping in Glenn Close’s voice (and dubbing it over MacDowell’s Southern lilt throughout the entire movie). They just said, "We didn’t use your voice. We used Glenn Close’s voice. Your voice is not in the movie."
'And then Hugh (Hudson, the director) asked me to do the sound of Tarzan’s mother having the baby in the jungle, so I did that for him. It was like an out-of-body experience.
'You know when you want to cry and you have that feeling in your throat? I had that. I could barely speak. It was devastating.'
Asked if she had ever spoken to Glenn about the dubbing, Andie said she tends to feel 'awkward' around her.
'I’ve seen her and I’ve always felt awkward. Usually she’s been with people and she seemed very happy and comfortable and I didn’t know how to approach her. I probably should have, but what do you say? I don’t know how she feels. It’s not like she did anything wrong. She took a job and they paid her. But it’s just a little awkward,' she said.
Her daughter, Margaret Qualley, has also caught the acting bug
Despite the letdown, Andie went on to achieve major success, and has starred in numerous major films, including classic romcoms.
Among them was the Bill Murray-led comedy Groundhog Day and a starring role opposite Hugh Grant in Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Her impressive resume includes Sex, Lies and Videotape, Green Card, Multiplicity, and so much more.
Not only that, but her daughter Margaret Qualley has also caught the acting bug.
The duo starred together in the 2021 Netflix series Maid.
Margaret has gone on to enjoy her own success as well, and stars in the Oscar-nominated film The Substance.
