She hasn’t been on speaking terms with her brother for almost three months. But Bethany Peaty – Adam Ramsay-Peaty’s 32-year-old sister – was desperate to share some sensational news with him.
Back in July, the Daily Mail revealed that Adam’s wife Holly, 26, had tried to stop Bethany from announcing that she was expecting a baby at the same time as Holly and Adam.
It’s alleged that Holly didn’t want any announcement about Bethany’s pregnancy to ‘steal the spotlight’ from her own baby which is due just a few weeks before her sister-in-law’s in January.
And yet Bethany just couldn’t contain herself. So two weeks ago, in an excited WhatsApp message to Adam, 31, Bethany broke the news that she was expecting a baby girl.
However, I can reveal that a fortnight later, her attempt to mend the family feud has gone unanswered. Adam has completely ignored her message.
Sources close to the family tell me the incident has left Bethany feeling deeply hurt. Bethany had hoped she would be able to bond with her sister-in-law over their joint pregnancies – particularly because they’re both expecting girls.
But in the latest saga of the Peaty-Ramsay drama, my sources tell me that Bethany sees this as the final straw. She’s finally run out of patience with her beloved brother and his new wife.
So, in a bold move, Bethany has unfollowed both Adam and Holly on social media, leaving any hopes of a reconciliation in tatters.

One source close to the family told the Daily Mail: ’Adam read the message but has chosen to ignore it.
‘It is upsetting. Beth was super close with her brother, but she feels used and has had enough.’
And this latest failed attempt isn’t the first time that Bethany has tried to play peace-maker in the Peaty family feud.
Readers will remember that the Peaty family drama started in late 2024 over a disagreement about invitations to Adam and Holly’s engagement celebrations.
Tensions rose in November 2025 when Adam’s mother, Caroline, spoke publicly about feeling excluded from Holly Ramsay’s lavish hen party at Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds.
The feud escalated when Caroline and other members of the Peaty family were uninvited from the couple’s nuptials at Bath Abbey last December.
Despite Adam’s slights against his mother, his sister Bethany was always at his side, standing in as a bridesmaid.
Bethany, who has a nine-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter with her partner Daniel Rogerson, was the only member of the Peaty family to attend her brother’s nuptials.
Of course, it can’t have been an easy decision, given she received a very public backlash, with several people accusing her of ‘turning on her own family’.
But through it all, Bethany was desperate to build bridges.
She even publicly congratulated Holly, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s middle daughter, when Holly announced that she was expecting her first child in June.

‘Aunty Beth loves you already, cannot wait to meet you,’ she wrote underneath the social media post announcing Holly’s pregnancy.
But after the latest blows from Holly and now Adam’s choice to ignore her baby's gender reveal, sources close to the family tell me Bethany is ‘completely done with it all’.
‘Beth is tired and drained from her pregnancy. A relationship with anyone needs to work both ways, but it has been one-sided,’ said my source.
‘The Peaty family suspects that Holly has access to Adam’s phone because he would never have previously ignored his sister, especially about something so special.’
Sources claim Adam has changed since indulging in his new ‘celebrity lifestyle’, which has culminated in being embraced by the Ramsay clan.
Some say that Adam’s choice to change his name to ‘Ramsay-Peaty’ after getting married in December 2025 was yet another bid to distance himself from his once doting family.
Last month, the Daily Mail revealed that before this feud became public, Adam hurt his big brother James Peaty, 34 – known as Jamie – by choosing not to attend the funeral of his stillborn baby in 2024.
Jamie and his wife Charlotte lost a baby boy that year, who they named Josh, at 23 weeks into the pregnancy.
Instead of attending the funeral with his family in 2024, Adam chose to attend the wedding of one of Holly’s friends.
‘Jamie lost a child, which broke his heart and Charlotte’s,’ one source close to the family said.
‘He had asked Adam to attend the funeral for some moral and emotional support, but his brother let him down, saying he had a social event to attend as Holly had invited him to a friend’s wedding and insisted they had to be there.
‘It seems that it created a rift between the two brothers, which has escalated into a full family row.’

Jamie and Charlotte, who share two children, are now expecting another child two years after enduring their devastating loss.
But the happy news is of course tainted by the breakdown of relations between Adam, Holly and the rest of the Peaty family.
The rift between the brothers deepened when Jamie – who had initially been chosen as a groomsman before he was disinvited from the celebrations – was arrested in November over allegations that he sent threats to the Olympian during his stag week in Budapest. It led to Adam getting a large police escort at Manchester airport on his return home.
The siblings’ dad Mark said at the time: ‘They’re brothers. They’ve always been close, but like any normal family brothers fight, argue, fall out, make up, and start all over again. But it’s got out of hand.’

As for Adam’s mother Caroline, 60, the heartache continues. The former nursery manager previously told the Daily Mail she hit rock bottom when Adam cut her out of his life.
My source said that Adam – who has been contacted for comment – even blocked his mother on WhatsApp as well as social media, making it impossible for her to contact him.
Now that Adam has cut off the last point of contact in his family by ignoring Bethany, will this be the end of his connection to the Peatys?
