2 weeks ago 4

Simu Liu's Shang-Chi finally returns to the MCU in Marvel's What If...? season 3, set to release three years after Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings. Shang-Chi's 2021 solo movie followed the martial artist as he reunites with his father Wenwu, saves the world in Ta-Lo, and earns a spot in the Avengers for his efforts in Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings' post-credits scene. However, Shang-Chi hasn't appeared in any other MCU movie or show ever since.

On YouTube, Marvel Entertainment released a video teasing the MCU's next projects coming to Disney+. These projects include four animated series: Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Marvel Zombies, Eyes of Wakanda, and What If...? season 3. Marvel's short teaser for What If...? season 3 features Simu Liu's Shang-Chi in what appears to be cowboy attire, telling an off-screen character, "up for an adventure?". The teaser also reveals the return of Malekith's Dark Elf army and a Gundam-like Captain America mecha. Watch the full video below:
