Summer Warne has shared details of her struggle with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
The daughter of late cricketing legend Shane Warne revealed that she suffers with intrusive thoughts that led her to mistakenly believe she was a 'psychopath'.
The 24-year-old posted details of her disorder in a TikTok dance video this week, with a caption on screen that read: 'Happy OCD awareness month.
'I convinced myself I was a psychopath until the age of 17, because I had no idea what intrusive thoughts/compulsions were'.
She added in a further caption: 'Live, laugh, love, OCD'.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, or OCD, is a mental illness characterised by unwanted, intrusive thoughts, repetitive behaviours and compulsions.

This can lead to anxiety and seriously impact a person's quality of life.
Summer's description of 'believing she was a psychopath' appears to be an example of an OCD symptom called ego-dystonic thoughts.
Ego-dystonic thoughts are involuntary, intrusive thoughts and images that clash with a person's belief system and sense of self, causing distress and anxiety.
Treatment for OCD includes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy and medication, such as Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs).
Summer is not the only high-profile personality who suffers from OCD, with footballer David Beckham, actress Cameron Diaz and singer Camila Cabello all previously discussing their battles with the illness.

The king of spin tragically died of a heart attack at 52 on March 4, 2022, while staying at a luxury villa on the Thailand holiday island of Koh Samui.

The budding actress also added a caption saying how she 'hates' that she had not been with her dad 'in his last moments'.
Summer included three pictures in a slide gallery which begins with a photo of herself and the caption: 'It's okay I'll just call my dad.'
The second panel shows Shane holding a dog, and includes a caption written by Summer in her father's 'voice'.
'Hello I'm her dad Shane,' the tribute begins.
'I passed away three years ago. She hates that she wasn't with me in my final moments.'
'Every time she sees a G Wagon she hopes it's me,' Summer continued in her father's 'voice'.
'She feels like our time together was robbed. Every time something exciting happens, she wants to tell me all about it.'
'I'm there SJ,' Summer wrote sadly as her father, 'just not physically.'
Warne shared his three children with his ex-wife Simone Callahan: Brooke, Jackson, and Summer.
