Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon on Sunday took to Instagram to commemorate her 14th wedding anniversary with wife Christine Marinoni.
'My wife Christine and I have been together for 22 years but today is our 14th wedding anniversary,' said the 60-year-old actress, best known for playing Miranda Hobbes on the HBO series.
The Gilded Age star said that 'falling in love with Christine was the best thing I ever did (next to having our children).'
The Emmy-winning actress is mother to son Seph Mozes, 29, and son Charles Ezekial Mozes, 23, with ex Danny Mozes; and son Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni, 15, with Marinoni.
The Manhattan native shared a trio of images in which she was posed alongside her spouse.
She wrapped up in saying, 'To celebrate our anniversary here are some photos of Aunt Ada falling in love with some lovely butch woman who managed to wander into The Gilded Age.'

Nixon received a slew of well wishes from her followers and a number of celebrity friends as she observed the marital milestone.
Rosie O'Donnell wrote, 'Happy anniversary u 2,' while Nixon's Sex and the City costar Mario Cantone said, 'Happy Anniversary to both of you!! All my love and to many many more years.'

Nixon and Marinoni, a native of Bainbridge Island, Washington, began to date one another after the star's split from Mozes in 2003, and revealed they were engaged in 2009.
The couple patiently waited to exchange vows until 2012, when same-sex marriage was legalized in their home state of New York.
Last year, to mark the anniversary, Nixon said on social media, 'Happy Anniversary to the best co-pilot a girl could ask for.'
Marinoni moved from her native Washington state to New York to work as a community organizer and attend Columbia University, The New York Times reported. She was working in education when she initially crossed paths with the actress in the early 2000s.
Prior to dating in 2004, Nixon - who ran for governor of New York in 2018 - had not been in a romantic relationship with another female.

'When we started seeing each other, Christine kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, for me to panic about what this would mean - to my career or to myself - as if somehow I just hadn't noticed that she was a woman,' Nixon told the Radio Times in a previous interview.
She said that after Marinoni met her mother, 'That was when she stopped worrying about it.'
In an interview with The Advocate, Nixon said her former publicist told her to keep the romance under wraps for the sake of her career.
'He just kept saying, "It's your life, and it's private, and that's it" and we kept asking, "That's the whole thing? We never move past that,"' she said. 'We're at the playground with the kids, and pictures are taken of us, and we say, "No, she's my friend?"'
Nixon eventually replaced her one-time publicist with openly gay publicist Kelly Bush, who advised her to publicly confirm the relationship.
