Serena Williams Aces Her Dramatic Silver Hair Transformation

You’ll Be Living for Paris Hilton’s Brunette Hair Transformation for Halloween

Serena Williams is twinning with her trophy room.

After all, the legendary tennis player traded her warm blonde curly locks for her coolest-toned look yet: icy blonde tresses at the Airbnb.org Gala on Oct. 28.

Just like the sterling silver trophies from Wimbledon, the U.S. Open and more in Williams' Florida home, the athlete was shining brightly with her new 'do in Old Hollywood waves and a sparkling Clio Peppiatt form-fitting gown.

She complemented her fully beaded leopard-print look with a bold red lip and a statement diamond necklace.

But Williams' look isn't the only new aspect of her life. In fact, while she was used to hitting the court at the U.S. Open—where she won six singles titles, two doubles titles with her sister Venus Williams and one mixed doubles title with Max Mirnyi—this year she spent the day in the stands.

"Going to the Open as a spectator is way different," she told E! News in August. "I can't say it's more fun, but I can say it's just different."

In fact, the Olympian—who, after four years of retirement, returned to the sport for Wimbledon in June, but ultimately suffered a knee injury during the tournament—sipped a Honey Deuce cocktail and soaked up the NYC sun.

"I get to hang out in the suites, I get to drink," she continued. "I never knew what was happening in those suites. So now, it's an opportunity to enjoy matches."

And Williams' new normal was also introspective, with her adding, "It's also about memories. And people carry those memories for a lifetime."

The 45-year-old—who shares daughters Olympia, 9, and Adira, 3, with husband Alexis Ohanian—is focusing elsewhere in her life, with her sharing insight into losing more than 30 pounds with a GLP-1 drug.

"I'm lighter, not physically, but just mentally,” she told Today in 2025. “I think having more energy, I just feel happier. I can get more things done. I feel better going about my day...Not that I didn't feel good before, but now, there's a difference."

"As an athlete and as someone that has done everything, I just couldn't get my weight to where I needed to be at a healthy place," she recalled, "and believe me, I don't take shortcuts."
