Selma Blair said she was feeling 'sad' and 'not great' just shortly before her alleged altercation during a flight on Monday.

Just prior to her flight on Sunday, Blair, 54, was active on social media and shared her feelings while responding to an Instagram user's comment.

She 'liked' the fan's comment, which read: 'I'm so happy you [sic] feeling great and doing great and making new memories!'

Blair wrote back: 'I'm. It [sic] great. I'm sad. I'm grateful. I hope. I am not great.'

The Cruel Intentions actress was arrested after she reportedly attacked flight attendants during a Delta flight from Los Angeles traveling to New York City.

The 'confrontation' occurred after she reportedly tried to open the door while the plane was still mid-air.

Blair was alleged to have punched one flight attendant and bit another when the flight crew tried to subdue her.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Blair's attorneys and representatives for comment but has not yet received a response.

The film and TV star had shared an Instagram Reel featuring a montage of photos of her recent excursions shortly before her flight.

'From LA to New Mexico to La to nyc to LA Scout and I have been busy. I miss you,' she wrote in the caption.

Her slideshow included several snapshots of her hanging out with friends mixed with selfies of herself lying on the ground while stargazing.

After her arrest, Blair was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court on Monday evening on two assault charges for allegedly kicking a police officer in the head repeatedly and attacking a nurse as she was taken to a hospital after the flight landed safely at JFK, according to Page Six.

At her arraignment, Blair's attorney said she missed multiple doses of her medication and hit her head.

'This was not an intentional assault,' her attorney Shawn Barnes said while addressing the allegations that she attacked two flight attendants aboard the flight.

'Ms. Blair missed several doses of … a powerful medication that controls severe neurological symptoms,' he said while explaining that the actress suffers from multiple sclerosis.

'Ms. Blair boarded this flight after being on set and working extensive hours and exhaustive hours in the days leading up to this flight,' he added.

'Additionally, at one point, during the flight, there was an incident where Miss Blair actually fell and hit her head.'

Barnes said 'these factors, coupled with the altitude, resulted in a state of severe confusion and disorientation.'

Judge Indira Kahn set Blair’s bail at $20,000 cash and $60,000 bond during the hearing.

Her other defense attorney, Joshua Reitzas, asked the judge to 'consider her body of work and what she's done for people.'

'This is someone we should look up to,' he added. 'She is the gold standard.'

The judge responded by saying: 'Ms. Blair should not get special treatment because she is a celebrity.'

According to the criminal complaint obtained by the outlet, Blair allegedly kicked the nurse in the chest after breaking out of her restraints while en route to the Jamaica Hospital.

She reportedly removed her leg from straps on the stretcher and kicked a police officer in the face, neck and chest while in an ambulance.

She allegedly also kicked a nurse in the chest after arriving at Jamaica Hospital.
