Breana Tiesi revealed that her relationship with Nick Cannon is one of the 'healthiest she's ever had' as she weighed in on their untraditional family set-up.

The Selling Sunset star, 33, who shares son Legendary Love, with the comedian, 44, appeared on Sophie Habboo's Wednesdays Podcast to discuss her open relationship with Nick, who had 12 children in total with six separate women.

Kicking off the interview, Sophie said to Breana: 'You have been very vocal about your family set-up and it's quite untraditional, but it's obviously amazing and it works really well for you and your family.'

Breana then chose this moment to clear up the fact that she and Nick do not co-parent their child and are very much in a relationship.

She said: 'I just want to be very clear, we don't co-parent, we are very much together and that's why people are confused.'

She added: 'Basically he has other partners and we're just open and happy and that's our thing.'

Sophie then asked the star what she would call her relationship to which Breana laughed and said: 'People call it all kinds of s**t I call it just I do what I want to do.'

Clarifying more, Breana added: 'I'm not a jealous person, I don't care about, I don't want a conventional relationship, I don't want a full live-in person I'm responsible for, I'm responsible for my child.'

'I feel like this is probably, which is so crazy, is like the healthiest relationship I've ever had.'

'We never fight, we never have any toxicity, we don't argue, like nothing. And he's the best dad and he's so present, I've never asked this man to do something and he doesn't do it.'

Sophie proceeded to ask Breana whether she and Nick live with one another to which she confirmed they do not live together.

She said: 'No, I mean we both work and travel a lot, but we spend multiple nights together.'

'We have set nights that we have, we go to our yoga all the time, and we have the nights that we put my son to bed, we have a full schedule.'

Breana also touched on how wonderful of a relationship her son has with his father when Sophie chimed in with: 'And your son has an amazing dad.'

While discussing her relationship further, the star added: 'I feel like this is probably, which is so crazy, is like the healthiest relationship I've ever had'

She joked: 'Oh amazing, like he's obsessed with him, you can see he's so obsessed with his dad and I'm like, excuse me I'm here.'

Other than Breana, Nick has children with the pop superstar Mariah Carey, DJ Abby De La Rosa, and four models: Alyssa Scott, Brittany Bell, and Lanisha Cole.

He shares 13-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with Carey, and a seven-year-old son Golden, three-year-old daughter Powerful Queen, and one-year-old son Rise Messiah with Bell.

He is also a father to three-year-old twins Zion and Zillion and two-year-old daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with De La Rosa, as well as two-year-old son Legendary Love with Tiesi.

Additionally, he shares two-year-old daughter Onyx Ice with Cole and one-year-old daughter Halo Marie with Scott.

Nick's seventh child and first child with Scott, son Zen, died in December 2021 from a brain tumour.

Last year, Nick spoke about his modern family and revealed he is open to adding more children to his brood of 11 while appearing on a podcast.

The Wild 'N Out host spoke with Dr. Laura Berman on her The Language of Love podcast, where he discussed how having kids — with six different women — was a calling from God.

After Berman stated that several of the women were on 'full on birth control and gotten pregnant' and joked that he has 'magic sperm' Nick replied, 'I lend that type of stuff to God. Those are miracles.'

Nick also joked about his story resembling that of Abraham in the Bible, with Nick adding, 'I've never heard that clarity, but I've heard "Yo, you're going to be a father of many. You're a great influence, your lineage, your offspring are going to do great things."'

The entertainer also shared he's not opposed to having even more children, telling Berman, 'The more the merrier!'

At one point Berman asked, 'Did God tell you to have all these babies?'

Nick said that he's gotten in trouble for saying that before and shared that when people ask him if he's done having children, his response is, "Only God can let me know when I'm done."

'As much as I was open to every single child that I have, I can't say the majority of them were planned,' he went on.

'If you would have told me in 2012 when I was still married and just diagnosed with Lupus that 10 years from now... that I would have 12 children, I would be like f**k out of here!'

He added, 'There's no way in the world that I would ever plan that.'
