Selena Gomez has revealed the type of family she dreams of having.
The star, 33, who married music producer Benny Blanco last year, would love to one day have a dinner table full of her adult children.
It's a sight inspired by a scene in the Christmas film The Family Stone, which stars Diane Keaton as the matriarch of a large family.
Gomez detailed her hopes for a large family during an appearance on her husband's new podcast, Friends Keep Secrets.
'I want four,' she said of the number of children she wants before bringing up The Family Stone.
'She [Keaton] basically has this scene, and it's a dinner scene with all her children and I can't get it out of my head, It has always made me feel so good inside,' she said.

'I said, "One day, at my dinner table, when I'm her age, I want to see that dinner table." I don't want, you know, not to say whatever happens, happens. If we're only able to have one, none... we don't know.
'But my dream for sure was that scene where they're all at the dinner table and they're just with their partners or their significant others or kids or single and it's just like beautiful cast of characters.'
'So it's actually going to be crazy hell for all those years until they become adults,' she said.
Gomez has been open about her desire to become a mother.
In 2024, she revealed for the first time to Vanity Fair that she 'can't carry' children due to medical reasons.
She said she had to 'grieve' her inability to become a mother naturally after years of battling lupus, a chronic autoimmune condition that causes the body to attack itself.
'I haven't ever said this,' Gomez told the publication, 'but I unfortunately can't carry my own children.
'I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby's in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while.'
While she acknowledged her path to motherhood will be 'different,' Gomez said she is still as determined as ever to have a child of her own.
'It's not necessarily the way I envisioned it. I thought it would happen the way it happens for everyone,' she said.

'I'm in a much better place with that. I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me.'
Meanwhile, Gomez's latest revelation comes after her husband's dirty feet sparked disgust from their podcast viewers.
Blanco's podcast Friends Keep Secrets with Lil Dicky and his wife Kristin Batalucco launched its pilot episode last month.
However, some viewers had been left distracted by Blanco's bare feet that had dirt on the bottom while lounging on a sofa.
On the latest episode of the podcast, however, Gomez proved she was unbothered by her husband's feet as she kissed them
Fans labeled the music artist as 'disgusting' while others encouraged Gomez - whom he tied the knot with in 2025 - to divorce him.
One penned on X, 'Bro needs to take a shower and hire a better house cleaner,' while another typed, 'I am HORRIFIED.'
'Not even a minute into this benny podcast and am in complete disbelief..,' an X user shared, and one added, 'the fact that his feet are ACTUALLY that filthy makes me sick to my stomach like selena girl what's going on.'
Another commented, 'That is disgusting idk how selena dealing with this,' and one wrote, 'Selena needs to divorce him and find someone better.'
Gomez, however, is clearly unbothered by the dirty feet - on the latest episode of their podcast she even kissed them.
