Selena Gomez flashes gorgeous $1M engagement ring from fiancé Benny Blanco while plugging beauty brand

Selena Gomez is proudly flaunting her fiancée status as she showed off her huge engagement ring while plugging Rare Beauty on Monday.

The 32-year-old Good For You hitmaker took to Instagram to share a video of herself applying her brand's makeup, carefully showing each step to fans.

The Only Murders In The Building star appeared to be casually sitting on the floor of her bedroom as she blended foundation and contour on her face, as well as applying mascara, bronzer and blush to elevate her glowing complexion.  

But it was her $1 million marquise-cut diamond engagement ring given to her by husband-to-be Benny Blanco that stole the show.

The 36-year-old music producer seemingly popped the question on December 11 during a romantic nighttime picnic featuring Taco Bell — of which Selena shared snaps of via social media.

The Same Old Love singer has been dating Benny since June 2023, though she didn't confirm the relationship until that December.

The marquise cut dates back to the 18th century when King Louis XV of France commissioned a diamond shape that resembled the smile of his mistress, the Marquise de Pompadour.

Laura added: 'The pavé band, with its continuous row of smaller diamonds set closely together, adds an extra layer of sparkle and luxury, beautifully complementing the central marquise diamond.

'This setting maximizes the brilliance of the overall design while maintaining a sense of sophistication.

'The central diamond is likely of exceptional quality, with VVS1 clarity and colorless grading in the D-F range. I would estimate the ring to be worth upwards of £800,000 ($1 Million), depending on the precise diamond specifications.'

Notably, Selena's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and fiancé Benny Blanco were previously pals and had collaborated on several songs, including Justin's 2020 hit Lonely and 2015's Love Yourself.

Last Tuesday, an insider close to the Let Me Love You hitmaker revealed his shocking reaction to his first love's engagement to his former collaborator. 

Back in September, Selena expressed interest in sharing children in the future with Benny but revealed that she 'can't carry' children due to medical reasons.

The Who Says singer told Vanity Fair that she had to 'grieve' her inability to become a mother naturally and said she 'unfortunately can’t carry my own children.'

'I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while,' she admitted.

Although her path to motherhood will 'look different,' the actress insists she wants to be one someday.

She told the outlet: 'It’s not necessarily the way I envisioned it. I thought it would happen the way it happens for everyone.

'I’m in a much better place with that,' she continued. 'I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me.'

She added, 'It made me really thankful for the other outlets for people who are dying to be moms. I’m one of those people. I’m excited for what that journey will look like, but it’ll look a little different.'

Selena clarified that, whether through surrogacy or adoption, the child will be hers.

'At the end of the day, I don’t care. It’ll be mine. It’ll be my baby,' she said.

And the Wizards Of Waverly Place star had stressed her firm desire to be a mother at age 35 even before dating the famed music producer. 

'Before I met my boyfriend, I was single for five years, with the exception of going on a few dates. And I was like, "OK, if this is the vibe, then what is the most important thing to me? Family,"' she admitted.
