EXCLUSIVE: Protagonist Pictures has boarded international sales rights to SXSW-bound comedy Seekers Of Infinite Love, which will be on sale at this week’s European Film Market.
Emmy winners Hannah Einbinder (Hacks) and Justin Theroux (The Leftovers) star alongside Oscar nominee Greg Kinnear (Little Miss Sunshine), John Reynolds (Search Party), Griffin Gluck (American Vandal), and Justine Lupe (Succession).
Writer-director Victoria Strouse’s (Finding Dory) feature directorial debut is about “estranged and highly dysfunctional siblings — a claustrophobe, a compulsive gambler and a controlling lawyer — who are forced to unite to rescue their sister from a doomsday cult. As they follow an unpredictable cult deprogrammer to her location, they make their way through the South… and back to each other.”
Pic heralds from Roofman and Palm Springs outfit Limelight and Twilight and Maze Runner firm Temple Hill Entertainment.
Producers are Dylan Sellers and Chris Parker for Limelight, and Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey for Temple Hill. Executive producers include Einbinder, Alexa Faigen, Nicole Flores, Hal Sadoff, Patrick Gogerchin, Tyler Zacharia and Gabby Zemer.
