Parenthood can be a drag, but the excitement of welcoming a new baby into the world overshadows any of the terrible twos or teenage tudes that lie ahead. On March 27, a fresh take on pregnancy will hit the scene when Thom Harp’s (The Donor Party) latest baby, Home Delivery, arrives in cinemas. Featuring some of the biggest names in the biz, including Melanie Field (A League of Their Own), Joe Pantoliano (The Sopranos), Rainn Wilson (The Office), and Donald Faison (Scrubs), the movie promises to keep audiences laughing while delivering a heartwarming story about parenthood and facing uncertainty with the support of loved ones. Today, Collider is excited to unveil the debut trailer for the upcoming project to give viewers a small taste of the comedy to come.

For years, Ellye Ferguson (Field) has traveled the world and appeared on the front page of magazines as a globally famous plus-size supermodel. The modeling industry may be filled with ups and downs, plenty of varying personalities, and more photo shoots than one can count, but Ellye is about to face her biggest hurdle yet after learning that she’s going to be a mother. Ready to rise to the occasion, the expecting parent decides to prepare for a home birth and invites her over-the-top family to join her for this milestone experience. Not fully understanding her misstep until it’s too late, Ellye soon realizes she has opened the floodgates for family trauma of multitudes and is forced to keep it cool in the days leading up to — and after — her delivery.
