The San Diego County Medical Examiner has released the cause of death for retired actress and bodybuilder Jayne Trcka who died, age 62 on December 12.

The San Diego realtor's death was accidental having passed away from 'hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease complicated by left femoral fracture' - according to TMZ.

'Chronic alcohol use was a contributing factor' to the demise of Trcka, who boxed and wrestled under the name Kasie Cavanaugh.

The Minnesota-born blonde - who's survived by an unnamed 42-year-old son - reportedly did not respond to a friend's calls for days before they went to her home to check on her and found her unresponsive in the kitchen.

Trcka made her acting debut in 2000 portraying gym teacher Miss Mann in Keenen Ivory Wayans' $19 million-budget slasher parody Scary Movie, which amassed $278 million at the global box office and spawned five sequels (including one due out June 12).

The 5ft7in athlete also appeared in the improv show Whose Line is it Anyway? as well as playing a women's prison guard in Jonas Åkerlund's 2010 music video for Lady Gaga's Telephone featuring Beyoncé.

According to her official bio, Trcka grew up in Minnesota where she did gymnastics before taking up weight training in the 1986 while working as a US postal carrier (1991-1998) and certified personal trainer.

'I have been able to turn my hobby and love for fitness into my career and help other people with their goals,' she wrote.

'I enjoy traveling, investments - real estate/stocks, scuba diving, rollerblading, biking, tennis, martial arts and just being out doors in the sun and fresh air.'

Trcka - who did not have social media - appeared in numerous muscle/fitness magazines including Flex, Muscle Mag International, Woman's Physique World, Ironman and Fighting Females.

Between 1988 and 2000, the San Diego City College grad took part in 26 bodybuilding competitions - placing first in Jr. Nationals, CA State Champs and North Cty Classic.

'Bodybuilding wasn't an instant decision. It just kind of followed a progression of stages,' Trcka told Bodybuilding.com in 2004.

'Competing in my first competition and placing first and also getting coverage including the back cover in Woman's Physique World. That lead to my second show. Placing well and loving competition and performing kept me going.'
