Savannah Guthrie Visits ‘Today’ Studio, Plans To Return To Show At Some Point After Absence Due To Mother’s Disappearance

Savannah Guthrie visited the NBC studios on Thursday morning for the first time since the disappearance of her mother, Nancy.

Guthrie plans to return to the show at some point, but the investigation continues into the abduction of Nancy Guthrie in Tucson, AZ.

A Today spokesperson said, “Savannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her Today colleagues.  While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home.”

Hoda Kotb, former Today co-host, has returned to Today to fill in as Guthrie has been with her family.
