Savannah Chrisley says she wants to 'make college dorms great again' as her brother heads to University of Alabama

Savannah Chrisley said she wants to 'make dorms great again' after making over the 'gross' room her brother Grayson is staying in during his freshman year at college.

The reality TV personality, 27, In the latest episode of her Unlocked podcast, she discussed her 18-year-old brother's first month of college at the University of Alabama. 

In the podcast episode titled Grayson's Bama Adventures, she criticized the interior design of his college dorm room and recalled how she helped him redecorate.

The Chrisley Knows Best star's younger brother said that she would take him on yet 'another Target trip' ahead of his big move 'every day.' 

When the the influencer — who issued a 'heartbreaking' update about their father Todd Chrisley amid his prison stay — was helping him get ready for life as a college student away from home, he recalled how she would ask him: 'But are you prepared?'  

He admitted he was 'overly prepared' because of her help.

She said it was worth it for her brother to have a place to organize and store his snacks. 

However, Grayson admitted that his dorm room felt smaller compared to his friends who 'don't have the extra furniture and stuff.' 

She joked: 'Well, they're just not prepared.' 

'No, they're prepared,' Grayson corrected her. 'Their parents just didn't go buy furniture and put it together in the dorm.' 

Then, Savannah insisted that her purchases were intentional and important. 

'You needed something to go under your bed to hold all your stuff. I mean, you've got all your snacks in there,' she said. 

She later called the original dorm room furniture 'disgusting.' 

'It's not that bad,' Grayson said in response before Savannah added that it was so 'gross' that she had to use 'wallpaper' to make it look nicer. 

'She went a little overboard,' Grayson joked. 'It's just, it's so gross,' Savannah continued. 'It's, like, that nasty brown color. Oh my God, no. 

'We need to make dorms great again, you know?' 

Grayson then responded: 'Have they ever been great? You can't make something great again if they've never been great.' 

Last month, Savannah said she was 'so proud' of her younger brother as he headed off to college. 

In an emotional post on her Instagram Stories, she said she had become a 'wreck' because her 'best friend' was moving away.
