Samsung Galaxy Watch FE Drops Below $200 at Amazon

2 days ago 2

Smartwatches have evolved beyond simple fitness trackers to devices that are so savvy they can tackle your day-to-day communications and tasks without you ever having to pull out your phone. Samsung Galaxy Watches offers Android users an alternative to the high-end Apple Watch series. One of Samsung's most recent releases, the Galaxy Watch FE, has now dropped below $200, making it just $180 at Amazon. Thanks to some competition in pricing, you can also pick up the same watch directly from Samsung for $180, with the potential to save up to $100 more if you have an older Samsung watch to trade in.

The Galaxy Watch FE is Samsung's budget alternative to the flagship Galaxy Watch 6, which costs $150 more at retail. However, the Galaxy Watch FE shares many of the same features, like workout tracking, sleep monitoring and a body composition sensor. Both models are available in a 40mm size, with plenty of fitness performance insights, such as calories burned, step counts for walking and running as well as active minutes throughout the day.

Additionally, ECG monitoring keeps track of your heart rate, while Galaxy AI works to understand your sleep patterns, providing data on sleep duration, snoring, awake time and more. The phone is available in three colors -- black, pink gold and silver blue -- either through Amazon or from Samsung directly.
