She may be nursing a broken heart following her recent split from husband Richard Lavender.
But Samantha Armytage is turning her attention elsewhere and finishing renovations on a property she purchased in the Southern Highlands earlier this year.
The 44-year-old former Seven star snapped up the three bedroom, two bathroom cottage in Moss Vale, NSW, for a cool $1.3mllion.
It is located just a 12-minute drive from the Berrima property she shared with Richard until their separation.
According to a report in The Daily Telegraph, a new roof has been completed while the interiors of the home have been 'modernised'.
Set on an expansive 1922-square-metre block, the stunning 1960s home features three bedrooms, and picturesque nature views.

Features also include timber cladding, a classically styled tiled roof and an expansive garden.
Highlights include a spacious living room with fireplace and picture windows that open out to a patio, perfect for entertaining.
There's also an open plan kitchen and dining area as well as a BBQ area and pond.
The project's completion comes after Daily Mail Australia revealed that the TV presenter, who recently moved to Nine from Seven, had split from her equestrian businessman husband, 61, after four years of marriage.
Samantha has now moved into a lavish apartment in Sydney's eastern suburbs following their separation.
She moved out of Richard's sprawling 40-hectare Southern Highlands home, where they got married on New Year's Eve in 2020.
Samantha's renovation project is part of a whole host of other lavish properties among her multimillion property portfolio.
The incoming Golden Bachelor host is quite the real estate maven, amassing real estate worth a reported $10million, according to realestate.com.au.

Samantha owns several eye catching properties across NSW.
Aside from her Moss Vale fixer-upper Samantha also purchased a stylish investment property for $1.58million in 2021 in the trendy Sydney suburb of Rushcutters Bay.
It is an exquisitely designed two-bedroom waterfront property located in the exclusive Marina One complex.
The contemporary two-bedroom apartment boasts waterfront views, a sun-drenched living space, a modern kitchen and connects to a garden terrace.
A resort-style development, the complex also features two pools and is just a short stroll to the harbour.
Samantha also owns a holiday rental in Hyams Beach, on the NSW South Coast, which she purchased for $1.76million in 2018.
On the market since last December, the former Sunrise star removed it from listings only hours before news of her split with made headlines.
A frustrated Sam slashed the original $3million asking price for the spread in September and relisted it with a $2.5million-$3million guide.

But last week, the Illawarra Mercury reported that the house had been dropped from the agents listing and was no longer for sale.
The former Sunrise star had the gorgeous pad on the market as a short-term holiday rental, charging a staggering $1200 per night, with a three-night minimum stay.
Perched only metres from the beach, the home features an entertainment deck, studio and games room.
Meanwhile, Samantha has also made a nice profit from selling part of her property portfolio, after she parted ways with her exquisite North Bondi home in July 2020, raking in $3.15million in the sale.
The veteran presenter had purchased the house in 2014 for $2.15million, meaning she made a significant profit once the sale had been finalised.
Samantha had listed the property just days after she first revealed her engagement with Richard.
She also offloaded her Southern Highlands property Pear Tree Cottage, prior to moving into Richard's Berrima farm, in August 2020 for $3.1million.

However in a rare missed opportunity for Samantha, the property was sold again in March last year for almost double the price at $6million, setting a record price for acreage in the village.
The announcement of Samantha's split with Richard sent shockwaves through Australia's TV industry last week.
The couple's separation was planned to be leaked to a Sydney newspaper, but sources confirmed the news to Daily Mail Australia in advance.
'Yes Richard and I have separated. All breakups are hard, but it’s somewhat lessened by the fact it’s amicable and we wish the best for each other,' Samantha then told media.
'I appreciate you respecting our privacy. I won’t be making any further comment.'
While the news just emerged publicly, it is understood Samantha's television presenter friends have been comforting the star behind the scenes for some time.
Samantha is no longer followed on Instagram by Richard's two daughters, Sascha and Grace, on Instagram after the split, although the former couple still follow each other.
