The Autopsy of Albert Kemper

Deadline reports Alexandra Shipp, Eric Stoltz, and David Howard Thornton will star in The Autopsy of Albert Kemper, a “psychological horror film” from writer-director David Benullo. The story concerns Riley Shaw (Shipp), “a morgue assistant who faces a terrifying night when the body of a notorious serial killer begins to show signs of something beyond death.” Thornton will play the film’s titular villain, Albert Kemper.


Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Sadie Sink addressed rumors she’s playing Jean Grey, among other potential comic book characters, in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. 

That was happening before I even knew that I would be working on this project. I was like, ‘Wait! What are people talking about?’ A lot of people forget that hair color can change, but, yeah, I understand all of the theories. People will just have to wait and see. I’m excited for all of it to maybe be put to rest.


Toy Story 5

Tim Allen revealed he finished recording his lines as Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 5 in a recent Twitter post.

I did wrap my part in Toy Story 5 Friday. Really affected me. I love these creators and love this story and blessed to be in this wonderful space suit for so many years.


The Odyssey

According to a new report from World of Reel, special effects designer Adam Wright has built a “6×6 m mechanical anthropomorphic puppet” of Polyphemus the cyclops inside of a cave wall for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.


Man of Tomorrow

James Gunn revealed a stack of storyboards he’s drawn up for Man of Tomorrow in a recent Instagram post.


One Piece

Deadline also reports Mikaela Hoover, Joe Manganiello, Lera Abova, and Sendhil Ramamurthy will be promoted to series regulars as One Piece enters production on its third season.


It: Welcome to Derry

HBO has released a trailer for the next episode of It: Welcome to Derry, as well as a separate promo of Pennywise singing “Down With the Clown.”
