Three-time Oscar nominee Sacha Baron Cohen was at Wimbledon today, but so was his alter-ego, Ali G, as you can see from the social media posts below.

We hear it’s really Ali G, and the news comes in the wake of a brand new Ali G movie being filmed sub rosa.

While the man-on-the-street comedic actor, who has fooled those in the most highest posts with his acts, from a pre-U.S. President Donald Trump to former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, has kept his productions secret, so that he’s able to sublimely punk his subjects. Below you can see the blunt, track-suit and gold chain wearing hip-hop character in the flesh:

Ali G is on Centre Court for the men's finals, as the "Official Ganja Dealer" of "Da Championshipz, Wimbledon"

There has been no official announcement that this is the real Ali G. At first I thought it was a tribute act, but now I think it's the real Sacha. Here's why:

No word as to where the Ali G feature has landed yet. Amazon MGM Studios released Cohen’s Borat Subsequent Moviefilm during Covid when theaters were closed where it notched two Oscar noms, while its 2006 theatrical predecessor Borat was released via the former 20th Century Fox to the tune of $262.5M worldwide. The latest Ali G movie will be the second one to the screen after 2002’s Ali G Indahouse. That movie didn’t receive a domestic release, rather grossed $23M-plus abroad, largely made in the UK. The character of Ali G was first introduced to stateside audiences via Da Ali G Show in the early 2000s on HBO.
