Ruth Langsford appears in great spirits at charity walk as she is seen for the FIRST time since ex Eamonn Holmes' loved-up display with new girlfriend

News of their divorce shocked the television world earlier this year. 

And while Eamonn Holmes has been packing on the PDA with his new girlfriend in Ibiza, Ruth Langsford has shared she was taking part in a charity walk over the weekend. 

The Loose Women presenter, 64, took to Instagram with a sweet compilation video after completing the Memory Walk for Alzheimer's Society in Surrey on Saturday. 

Ruth looked in great spirits in the clip as she cut the blue starting ribbon to kick off the event. 

Wearing her own Alzheimer's T-shirt, the star was seen awarding medals and engaging with the public as she dedicated the day to the charity close to her heart. 

She captioned the post: 'Made memories today with all these amazing people at the @alzheimerssoc Memory Walk in @painshill park. 

'Thank you all so much for coming (young and not so young!) and walking for your loved ones, I can’t thank you enough. 

'So proud to be an ambassador for this incredible charity. This video is long so the music ran out but I couldn’t bear to edit it! See you all next year'.

Ruth has a deeply personal connection to the charity after her mum Joan was diagnosed with dementia back in 2020 and her father Dennis passed away from the disease in 2017. 

Meanwhile Eamonn arrived back in the UK on Sunday with his girlfriend Katie Alexander, after the couple spent the last week on a luxury romantic cruise together.

The GB News presenter, 64, and the relationship counsellor, 42, weren't shy about showing off their new romance, with the pair spotted engaging in PDA during the trip.

On Friday evening, the broadcaster was even seen cheekily grabbing her bottom as they headed on a night out in Ibiza.

The getaway reportedly left Ruth shocked, with the holiday occurring just four months after the former golden couple announced they were divorcing after 14 years of marriage.

It comes after reports Ruth has hired a 'fierce' divorce lawyer amid her bitter split from Eamonn.  

The Sun revealed Catherine Costley has been called up by the star who seeks to end her 14-year marriage to Eamonn with a financial settlement.

Ms Costley is known for her fierce approach to divorce settlements and has said all women should have a 'go bag' fund when exiting a relationship, according to The Sun. 

The divorce lawyer was once an apprentice of 'Steel Magnolia' Baroness Fiona Shackleton, Britain's highest-profile divorce lawyer who famously represented Charles in his split from Diana in 1996. 

Baronness Shackleton has also worked with A-list stars including Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher and Madonna, and was once doused with water in court by a furious Heather Mills while representing the Beatles legend during the couple's divorce in 2008.
