Ruby Rose was once one of Australia's biggest Hollywood exports, landing blockbuster movie roles and fronting one of DC's most high-profile television franchises.
But these days, the Melbourne-born actress has traded Hollywood premieres for a far quieter life back home in Australia after her once-soaring career came to a dramatic halt.
The 40-year-old has been spending time at a striking cabin retreat in Victoria, nestled among bushland near the coast.
Featuring black timber cladding, floor-to-ceiling glass walls and dramatic triangular windows overlooking the water, the secluded getaway has frequently appeared on her social media.
When one fan asked where it was located, Rose simply described it as 'a secret magical place in Victoria'.
It is unclear whether she owns the property, rents it or whether it belongs to family.

The actress, who rose to international fame in Netflix's Orange Is the New Black before starring in films including John Wick 2 and The Meg, now splits her time between Australia and the US while maintaining an impressive property portfolio.
One of her best-known homes is a four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom property in the Valley Village neighbourhood of Los Angeles, which she purchased in 2021 for $US2.6million ($A3.7million).
The home previously made headlines after Rose shared footage of a painful accident that left her hospitalised with multiple broken ribs.
In a video posted to Instagram, Rose was seen cleaning her swimming pool before losing her footing, crashing into a brick wall and falling into the water.
'RIP to my ribs, and to the rest of my summer. They are broken, multiple,' she captioned the clip.
'Straight to hospital, did not pass go or collect 200 dollars.'
She later updated fans on Threads, revealing the extent of her injuries.
'One second I'm here talking to you. The next I'm in the hospital with two broken ribs. Bloody Monday,' she wrote.

Before upgrading to the Valley Village home, Rose sold her Sherman Oaks property for $US2.1million after purchasing it in 2017 for $US1.8million, pocketing a profit of around $300,000

Rose's quieter lifestyle marks a stark contrast to the whirlwind Hollywood career she built after moving to Los Angeles in 2013.
After making a name for herself as an MTV Australia presenter, model and DJ, she became an international star with her breakout role as Stella Carlin in Orange Is the New Black.
That success led to roles in major studio films including Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and XXX: Return of Xander Cage, as well as the Batwoman series.
However, her time on the superhero series ended in controversy when she exited after one season in 2020.
Rose initially pointed to health issues, later revealing she had a latex allergy that disrupted work.
She also dismissed any prospect of returning to the series.
Following the fallout, Rose returned to Australia for an extended break, spending time with family before later returning to Los Angeles to film the action movies Vanquish and SAS: Red Notice.
While she occasionally returns to the screen, Rose has largely stepped away from the Hollywood spotlight that once made her one of Australia's biggest international stars.
