If you were to ask any member of our staff for a recommendation on what to watch, chances are we’d have a slew of titles to share. We’re exposed to a lot of movies and TV here at Rotten Tomatoes, and we’re not mad about it. That’s why we’ve put together this weekly guide of films, staff picks in alphabetical order, that we recommend you check out every week.
“I binged a slasher series I’d never seen before. A pastiche of Friday the 13th films, it was playful, with some of the most over-the-top kills I’ve ever seen paired with a unique approach to continuity,” says Kevin Bauer, manager, content curation, for Rotten Tomatoes, of the Hatchet franchise. “Its worldview raised a few red flags, so it’d be hard to recommend outside of genre diehards.”
