Rosalia leaves fans stunned as she struts around New York with a 'ridiculously' huge handbag and towering ballet pointe shoe heels: 'She's living in the Hunger Games!'

Rosalia has left fans stunned as she stepped out in New York City with a 'ridiculously' huge handbag and towering ballet pointe shoe heels on Friday.  

The singer, 34, turned heads as she toted the massive baguette-shaped bag which measures one meter long and 60cm high (a little over 3ft long and 2ft tall), around the city. 

The custom item, designed by Dana Toder, features printed graphics that incorporate archival photographs of women spanning the 1970s to today. 

She teamed the accessory with a simple black minidress which showed off her amazing figure and a pair of sunglasses. 

Rosalia elevated her frame in a pair of sky-high ballet inspired heels with pink ribbon wrapped around her ankles from Junko Shimada’s spring 2009 collection, which were previously worn by Lady Gaga.   

Fans quickly took to social media to joke that the actress looked like she lives in The Capitol of the Hunger Games while others said she definitely only has 'one lipstick' in the huge bag. 

They wrote: 'Me claiming I'm only travelling with carry on handbag to Ryanair staff...';

'This is so funny though… fashion is intrinsically ridiculous if you ask me so when it goes over the top it’s like living in The Capitol in the Hunger Games';

'What’s inside? Probably just a sweater';

'What’s even in there? Flat shoes for the subway?';

'There is one lipstick in there and its making annoying rattle sounds while walking';

Rosalía prefers not to comment on her love life but made a rare loved-up appearance with her girlfriend Loli Bahia as they packed on the PDA last month at the US Open. 

The couple, who were first linked last November, looked smitten as they took a brief break from watching the tennis to share a kiss.

Rosalia has kept the details of her relationship with Loli under wraps but fashion model Loli has been spotted supporting her on the Lux Tour. 

She prefers not to comment on her love life but made a rare remark about it last year when asked whether she felt the need to publicly define her sexuality following her romance with Hunter Schafer.

When asked if she felt compelled to come out as queer or otherwise, she told Elle: 'No, I do not pressure myself.'

'I think of freedom. That’s what guides me,' she explained of how she navigates dating in the public eye.

Following the end of their five-month relationship back in 2019, the two-time Grammy winner and Hunter have remained close friends and, recently, became colleagues.

Earlier this year, the amicable exes recently teamed up to shoot scenes for the long-awaited third season of Euphoria, which is set to premiere in 2026.

In 2024, Hunter, 27, confirmed to GQ that they 'have a really beautiful friendship' after splitting romantically.

'She’s family no matter what,' the actress insisted, noting Rosalía gave her permission to discuss their past relationship after 'so much speculation for so long'.

'Part of us just wants to get it over with, and then another part is like, "It’s none of anybody’s f**king business!"… It’s something I’m happy to share. And I think she feels that way too,' the Hunger Games star insisted.

Rosalía hasn't explicitly labelled her sexuality, but has previously been linked to The Bear‘s Jeremy Allen White and was engaged to Rauw Alejandro.

In July 2023, she called off her engagement after more than three years together.

Following their breakup, she admitted that it wasn't 'an easy moment' on Instagram after crying on stage at Lollapalooza Paris.
