Romance ‘Bee My Love’ Scores U.S. & Canada TV Deals For Precious Metal Prods & Good Soldier Films

EXCLUSIVE: Recently-launched Canadian production company Precious Metal Productions and Good Soldier Films are celebrating U.S. and Canada TV deals for their first movie collaboration Bee My Love.  

Super Channel has acquired Canadian broadcast rights while Nicely Entertainment has acquired and will oversee U.S. and international distribution.

The feel-good TV movie will premiere on Great American Family in the U.S. on April 11, in. a deal brokered by Nicely Entertainment. It will debut in Canada on Super Channel on May 15 in a deal brokered by Defiant Empire Distribution, which will continue to represent the film’s Canadian distribution.

The joint production between Precious Metal Productions and Good Soldier Films, stars Ann Pirvu (Reign) opposite Robin Dunne (Ainsley McGregor Mysteries,) as a private chef competing for her dream job with a celebrity restaurateur, played by Brigitte Kingsley (The Art of Christmas).

She finds inspiration in her mother’s recipes, the sweetness of honey, and a struggling beekeeper, (Dunne) who teaches her to believe that life, and love, are sweetest when shared.

Bee My Love is the first completed movie for Precious Metal Productions since its recent launch by former Vortex Media exec Giroux and actress-producer Pirvu, with a focus on TV movies and theatrical feature films and activities ranging from original content creation to full-service production.

The cast also features Emily Alatalo (Crossroad Springs), Romaine Waite (Very Merry Mystery), Neil Whitely (When Hope Calls) and Jessica Tang (Five Nights At Freddy’s Help Wanted). Giroux (Snowbound For the Holidays) directs.

The movie is produced by Kingsley and Andrew Cymek under the Good Soldier Films alongside Pirvu and Giroux, and executive produced by Nicely Entertainment founder and head Vanessa Shapiro.

Kingsley and Cymek also head up distribution company Defiant Empire Corp, which has previously worked with the likes of Hallmark, Lifetime, Netflix, UPTV and Super Channel in the past with titles including Autumn Stables, From Friend to Fiancé and A Novel Christmas.
