Mick popped the question to Melanie around three years ago after she was spotted out and about wearing an engagement ring.

Last year when asked about marriage, the American choreographer said: 'Maybe one day, maybe not. We are so happy in our current life that I would be too afraid to change anything. I don't know what to call it, maybe simply happiness.'

The secret to their happiness, she claims is supporting each other and being there for each other.

Melanie and Mick met in Tokyo in February 2014 when the Stones were on tour.

Meanwhile Ronnie and Sally tied the knot in 2012 after exchanging vows during an intimate ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in London following a six-month romance, with Rod Stewart serving as best man.

The pair met at her place of work, the Theatre Royal, nine years beforehand. They went on to welcome daughters Gracie Jane and Alice Rose in 2016.

The group were out celebrating on Wednesday night at the launch party for the new Rolling Stones album Foreign Tongues.

They were also joined by Mick's daughters Georgia and Elizabeth and an array of celebrities including Sam Fender and Emma Thynn.

Mick, Ronnie and Keith Richards, 82, recorded Foreign Tongues in under a month at Metropolis Studios in West London.

The 14-track album, which is set for release on the 10th July, comes less than three years after the band's Grammy Award-winning Hackney Diamonds, which achieved multi-platinum success.

It also includes a special appearance from Charlie Watts, captured during one of his final recording sessions before his passing in 2021.

Additional contributions come from an impressive line-up of guest artists, including Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, The Cure’s Robert Smith and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Reflecting on the recording process, Sir Mick said: 'I love doing these recording sessions in London at Metropolis.

'It was a very intense few weeks recording Foreign Tongues. We had 14 great tracks and we went as fast as we could.

'I like the room there as it’s not too big so you can feel the passion in the room from everyone.'

Keith added: 'The Foreign Tongues album has a continuity from Hackney Diamonds and it was great to be working in London again, and to have that London vibe around us. It was a month of concentrated punch.

'To me, it's all about the enjoyment of it. I'm blessed to be able to do this and long may it last.'
