Robert Downey Jr. was spotted holding hands with his wife Susan Downey after enjoying a romantic dinner date together on Thursday evening.
The Marvel star, 59, and the film producer, 51, put on a cozy display when they exited the celebrity hotspot, Giorgio Baldi, in Santa Monica, california together.
During their outing, RDJ was seen sporting an Iron Man T-shirt — five years after hanging up his superhero suit but recently announcing that he would be returning to the MCU in another form.
Over the seemingly significant shirt, he sported a gray, velvet blazer and a matching, tweed fedora with a cream and black striped band.
The Oppenheimer alum — who is set to become the highest paid actor of all time with his latest role earning him 'significantly more' than $78 million — donned black jeans and chunky sneakers.
At his side, his wife Susan also showcased her effortlessly chic style, donning a hound's-tooth plaid sweater dress, a stylish trench coat and sheer tights.

To match the colors of her sweater dress, she sported a burgundy, braided crossbody bag and chunky ankle boots.
Both Robert and Susan appeared to be in high spirits and flashed their grins after their date night.
Their outing comes as the couple approaches their 20-year wedding anniversary.
On August 27, 2005, nearly two years after getting engaged and an additional two years of dating, they got married. They have been together for over two decades.
Earlier this year, his wife Susan revealed the secret to their successful marriage and how they keep the romance alive despite of his busy schedule.
She said that their marriage thrives because they have prioritized an important 'rule.'
'We do have a two-week rule,' she told People in March. She said it 'often feels too long,' but it works for them.
'We don't go more than two weeks without seeing each other and the family being together,' she explained.

The pair — who met in 2003 on the set of Gothika, which Susan produced and Robert starred in — share 12-year-old son Exton and nine-year-old daughter Avri.
The Chaplin star is also father to son Indio, 30, from his first marriage with Deborah Falconer.
Due to Robert's thriving acting career and subsequently busy schedule, she said that they have to make an effort to remain present and flexible all while prioritizing their marriage and family.
'You keep the basic rule of two weeks, and then, you don't try and think too far ahead because so much of what we do is oddly unpredictable,' Susan explained.
'You just need know — someone might get sick, or there might be a shutdown, or this or that. So, you just have to have some basic things in place, and then, you have to be willing to flow with the rest of it,' she added.
She said that her schedule is a bit more flexible as a producer and executive.

'The good news is I'm not in front of the camera, so as a producer, I end up with a little bit more flexibility in terms of location of where I would need to be,' she added.
'I admire and have a lot of empathy for couples who both have to be in front of the camera because you get stuck and you have to make those choices,' she continued.
And even though the Oscar-winning actor does not have a traditional job that allows him to come home every night, she admires and applauds her husband's work ethic and talent.
'He approaches everything he's done — every Marvel movie, every other movie — with the same level of commitment and belief that he is an actor and that he's doing his best to create a role,' she said.
'But sometimes, I think it looks so effortless that it's just like, "Oh yeah, that's just Downey being Downey." When it's like, "No, there's a lot of craft and skill that is going into the performance."'
