Rob Schneider Responds to Elle King’s “Toxic” Father Accusations
Rob Schneider and Patricia Azacorya Schneider are closing a chapter.
The couple have separated after 15 years of marriage, with the Grown Ups actor’s wife filing for divorce, late last year, according to court documents obtained by E! News.
Patricia, 37, originally filed her petition to divorce on Dec. 8, 2025, with Rob, 62, accepting the request four days later. The couple—who share daughters Miranda, 13, and Madeline, 8—both agreed to take part in a mandatory parenting course and to a consent decree to keep the exact terms of their divorce private, per the filings.
E! News reached out to Rob for comment.
Rob and Patricia’s last public appearance was a family outing with their daughters at the New York premiere of Happy Gilmore 2 in July. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the time, Rob said, “My happy place is any place with my family.”
And sometimes that meant Rob’s happy place extended into his work. After all, the former couple met in 2007 when Rob made an appearance on a show where Patricia was working as a producer, and continued to pursue joint ventures throughout their relationship.
In fact, Rob credited his estranged wife with keeping his career going in 2022.
“The only reason I’m still doing what I do is because of this lovely woman,” Rob wrote of Patricia in a birthday post on Instagram. “You make everything beautiful! Every day a joy. And make my life a life of love and happiness. I love you para siempre.”
Rob and Patricia’s separation comes over a year after Rob’s elder daughter Elle King—whom he shares with ex London King—called him out on The Dumb Blonde podcast in August 2024, saying “I don’t want to be associated with him.”
“He's just not nice,” the 36-year-old added. “I disagree with a lot of the things that he says. You can want someone to change so much and ultimately, you can't control anyone else's actions.”

Following Elle’s words, Rob asked his daughter—mom to 3-year-old son Lucky, and another baby who arrived last February, with Dan Tooker—to forgive his “shortcomings.”
"I just want you to be well and happy with you and your beautiful baby,” Rob said during an August 2024 appearance on The Tucker Carlson Show podcast. “I wish you the best. I feel terrible, and I just want you to know that I don't take anything you say personally.”

Though the pair hadn’t confirmed their marriage after getting engaged in September 2025, the Bloody Valentine star's husband filed for divorce on Jan. 22, according to documents obtained by multiple outlets. That same day, Jaime revealed that she was "blindsided" by the investor's decision to abruptly end their marriage.
“I was completely blindsided by the divorce filing, which came out of nowhere,” the 46-year-old told Page Six in a statement published Jan. 22. “I was with Austin the night before it became public, and while like many marriages we had normal challenges, I genuinely believed we were working on our relationship.”
Jaime—who shares kids James and Leo with ex Kyle Newman—further shut down any suggestion of infidelity as a cause for the breakup, adding, “Any recent interactions being referenced publicly were strictly professional business meetings and have no connection to this private matter.”
