Rob Reiner's daughter has appeared in a new acting project – and it connects her to her late famous father in a very special way.
Romy Reiner, 28, appeared on Friday's final episode of Larry David's satirical HBO series, Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness, just weeks after her dad made a posthumous cameo in the show.
The beloved actor-director and his wife Michele Reiner were brutally slain at ages 78 and 70 last December, with their son Nick Reiner, 32, arrested and charged with their deaths.
Rob's part in Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness was filmed one month before his passing, and had been kept a secret until the episode aired on July 3.
In Friday's episode, Romy starred as a nurse who tended to an ill President William Henry Harrison, highlighting her acting chops.
The brunette is following in her late father's footsteps by entering into the entertainment business.

Romy previously appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm, and has four more projects in the pipeline, including the movie You Drive Me Nuts, which will co-star her brother Jake.
Rob, who directed hit films including When Harry Met Sally and The Princess Bride, also had a long list of acting credits.
In July, he earned a posthumous Emmy nomination for his role in The Bear, less than one year after his gruesome murder.
He was announced as a Best Guest Actor in a Comedy nominee for the Jeremy Allen White-led FX drama.
Rob appeared as restaurateur Albert Schnurr in season four of the culinary show, which received eight nominations in total for the forthcoming September awards ceremony.
Rob and Michele allegedly had their throats slit by Nick after a heated argument at their $13.5 million mansion on December 13, 2025.
The Reiner family said in a statement last December: 'It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time.'
The filmmaker's adopted daughter Tracy Reiner, 62, told NBC News at the time: 'I came from the greatest family ever. I don’t know what to say. I’m in shock.'
Romy has not posted to her Instagram feed since December 1, when she said she was 'thankful for family' and 'health.'
Her last two posts include images of her late parents.
The role saw her play a nurse to Fred Melamed's sickly President William Henry Harrison

Rob, the son of comedian Carl Reiner and his actress wife Estelle, started his career in Hollywood as an actor.
He first played Mike 'Meathead' Stivic in the hit sitcom All in the Family between 1971 and 1979, with the role earning him two Primetime Emmy Awards.
His other acting credits include parts in 1993 romcom Sleepless in Seattle, The First Wives Club in 1996, 1998 thriller Primary Colors and 2013 movie The Wolf of Wall Street.
However, he is best remembered for his directing work which started in the early 1980s when he took charge of 1984 music mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap.
He went on to direct 1986's Stand by Me as well as the 1987 fantasy adventure The Princess Bride and 1989 rom-com When Harry Met Sally.
His final movie returned to his roots as he brought Spinal Tap back to the big screen in September 2025 for a second outing, Spinal Tap II: The End Continues.
