Rob Beckett was quick to laud his longtime pal Romesh Ranganathan's win on Celebrity Traitors, after the comic vowed he would 'avenge' his friend's death.
The comedian met his maker at the hands of The Traitors early in the series, with a devastated Romesh vowing to carry on and win the show in his friend's honour.
And win the show he did, as Romesh and Sebastian Croft were crowned champions in Friday's final after managing to banish all of the remaining Traitors.
Rob took to Instagram Stories to praise Romesh and Sebastian's win, posting a snap of the pair following their victory with the caption: 'Yes lads!'
After his presenting partner's demise, Romesh vowed that he would try and avoid banishment or murder so he could avenge his death.
James told Rob: 'Rob Beckett you have been murdered' with the funnyman bursting into laughter as he replied: 'Thank you very much James Acaster.'

Rob then added: 'Liberty innit. It's over. I'm a dead man. In a way this is good news for the Faithfuls because I was nowhere near getting Maya and James.
'No chance. It has been amazing and I will cherish my memories. However if I know one thing my boy Romesh will avenge my death and he will get them.'
As Rob's death was revealed during breakfast the next morning, his longtime pal Romesh added: 'It's sad but you've got to look at the positive of these things, Rob's not here.'
He told the camera: 'I made a joke but the truth is I feel like I let Rob Beckett down because he is so unthreatening he was never going to get banished so he is the guy we should have given the key to and he is also one of my best friends. I'm sad, it's not going to be the same without him.'
Speaking after his demise, Rob added: 'If I know one thing, my boy Romesh will avenge my death, and he will get them.'
Host Claudia Winkleman was quick to quip: 'You could say Beckett has kicked the bucket,' admitting the joke took her 45 minutes to come up with.
Viewers applauded Romesh and Sebastian for beating Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny, who went under the radar until Thursday's episode, when their fellow Traitor James Acaster revealed his identity in a moment of stress.
They scooped £41,500 each for their chosen charities - Choose Love for Sebastian and the Refugee Council for Ranganathan.

They shared an embrace as host Claudia Winkleman congratulated them on their big win.
'I trusted Bash and I was right to. I cannot believe it! I just really hope my mum is proud,' the comedian said.
In his exit interview, he added: 'I think my biggest highlight is making a friend in Bash - relying on the fact that I thought he was a friend in that end game and that paying off, that is something I feel really good about.
Sebastian broke down in tears and said: 'That was just incredible. This might actually be the best day of my life.'
Adding what the highlight of his experience was, the actor shared: 'It was the moment that Rom said the word Faithful, and the hug that we had was just wild, it was crazy.'
The duo then joined the host and celebrity finalists outside the picturesque Ardross Castle, where they raised a glass around the fire pit.
