Rihanna's Bejeweled Carnival Outfit in Barbados Is Her Most Massive Fashion Look Yet

Rihanna needs to take a bow for this masterpiece.

The 38-year-old (born Robyn Rihanna Fenty) returned home to Barbados to celebrate Carnival, the country's annual seasonal festival, in a showstopping look.

For the Grand Kadooment Day parade Aug. 3—the final party of the month-long extravaganza which historically marked the end of summer harvest—Rihanna sparkled in a super-sized piece decked out in head-to-toe peacock-colored gems and feathers. She completed the look with hot pink booties, seamlessly bringing a little comfort to the over-the-top ensemble.

And it's far from the first time the "Umbrella" singer has dazzled the streets of Bridgetown, as throwback photos of her as a teen have shown. Rihanna has kept up the tradition after becoming the household name fans know today, rocking many styles over the years to Carnival, from all white to giant pink showgirl feathers to a turquoise wig.
